HOW DO THESE THINGS/ GOODS AFFECT YOUR WAY OF LIFE/ THINKING/ MOVING?
These things and goods affected my way of life by making my way of living easier, faster and
more efficient. I can do more things in a shorter amount of time expending the least amount
of physical and mental energy possible. For example, the computer compared with type
writer, mistakes could be made and fixed out before I print out by using grammar and spelling
check. It has many program so I can do my school works. For the television, my family would
sit up together in the living room to watch TV programs after dinner. During this time, we
would occasionally talk about the shows being broadcasted. For the internet, it allows me to
communicate globally. I can research my activities in school through internet. This takes the
place of going to the library and spending the whole day finding the same information that I
could find in internet within five minutes. For the clothes, it makes me more fashionista due to
their creative inventions of designs. Actually, these products of inventions greatly changed my
life and I love it. The world of inventions is always changing and I can’t wait to see what’s
next.
BASED ON THE ABOVE, WHAT IS YOUR CONCEPT OF GLOBALIZATION?
Based on the above, I conceptualize globalization as free movement of goods, services,
people, capital, and information across national boundaries. It is also a process of integration
of the world as one market which leads to integrated global economy. Globalization also
change our way of living in terms of education, agriculture, constructions, artistry and lot. It
develops socialization among countries, Furthermore, based on the above information, in
terms of global economy, I can say that rich countries become more rich why poor countries
becomes poorer because most of the products we buy are from big companies. These big
companies are able to provide their products at a fraction cost meaning, that to compete with
them, small businesses are forced to lower their prices at lower extinction. The developing
countries often struggle to compete with developed countries, therefore is argued free trade
benefits developed countries more.
