WHAT IS HOMESICKNESS?
Homesickness is distress caused by being separated from home. It
may look different for a lot of people. Some of the most common
symptoms are:

• You really Feeling sad, down, or depressed


• Grief over the loss of familiar surroundings
• In fact, you feel too anxiety or nervousness
• Withdrawing from or avoiding other people
• Wanting to stay in your room or being afraid to leave your
room
• Feeling nostalgic about things that remind you of home
• Being easily irritated by new things, or things that are done
differently than how you’re used to.

I am definitely very attached to my mom so when I am separated
from her, I really try to be in communication with her all the time,
and what I really miss is her food and her pampering.

ACTIVITY: STUDIYING ABROAD:


WHAT I DEFINITELY MISS A LOT IS:
1. My family: My mom, my brothers, my little nephews…
2. I miss a lot my bedroom, my comfortable bed.
3. I really miss my boyfriend.
4. Definitely the food of my house.
5. I miss my friends and
6. In fact, my job too
How would you overcome it?
I absolutely I call to my family all the time I can, for my
relationship I really try to do videocalls and send photos at all
and fact, I send presents and gifts on our anniversary etc.

HOW TO STOP BEING HOMESICK:

AND HOMESICKNESS:
Some tips I would give this person would be:
To be honest I have never studied abroad, so I have never been
away from my home and the people I love for a long time, but I
really think that he/she would definitely do is change your
routine, for example: get out of your house, in fact, need to talk
with someone about how feel, don’t lose communication with the
people, absolutely I recommend that took classes of paint or
something what do it happy, watch videos that make it laugh and
certain do things to distract themselves and make them feel
comfortable.
