ACTIVITY 1

EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHIES

1. What philosophy do you identify yourself? Why?

The philosophy that I identify with is behaviorism because I enjoy rewarding my

Learners for good participation, and in this way, I will capture all the student's attention
because I am confident that all of my Learners are capable of performing the skills that are
required for that performance. Giving them a reward makes them happy and increases their
self-confidence, resulting in better communication throughout the class.

2. What philosophy of education have you started to realize for yourself as future
teacher? Why?

Constructivism is the philosophy that I realized during the discussion because I

recognized that learners construct knowledge rather than passively takes in information. As
we experience and reflect on the world, we all know that people create their own
representations and assimilate new information into the new experiences and new people that
we encountered. That concept has led me to believe that we should travel or obtain
information from others in order to gain information that will be useful to us. And sometimes,
learners engage in self-study to build confidence, and in this way, we gain a great deal of
information and confidence in themselves.

3. How do you see yourself as teacher to your students relative to your educational
philosophy?

To my future students, I see myself as an essentialist who believes that no child should be
left behind when it comes to knowledge, be matched with all students. Be paired in every
way. Nobody should have the impression that something is missing or empty. I need to
educate them fairly. So that by the conclusion of class, everyone in my class feels complete.
They also get a great deal of knowledge. And I see to my Learners that we closed to each
other having a good communication and have a good time on the class.

4. How would you plan to nurture your students relative to your educational philosophy?

The existentialism and the essentialism. Two educational theories will be used in my plan
to nurture my future students. Existentialism is a philosophy that aims to help students
comprehend and embrace the individuality of each individual who accepts full responsibility
for their thinking. Through this philosophy, each student will be treated equally by their
teacher. They will learn about their own strengths and what they will become in the future.
As a teacher, I will be the one to lead them down the route that they desire in society. And
there's the essentialism, which states that no child will be left behind. And, as a teacher I will
be the one who give them information so that I will master all of the subjects on which I must
give fundamental information to my students.
