CIRCULAR

Sub: Regarding Teams selected for Business Blasters Expo at Thyagraj

Stadium.
Business Blasters, a practical component of EMC for classes 11th and 12th, has
been running in schools of DoE since October 2021. This project is designed to
provide our students an experience to work in teams, brainstorm and identify
social challenges or business opportunities, prepare business plans and
implement their ideas in their neighborhoods.
In Round 1, all participating and eligible students formed approximately 50,000
teams and implemented their business ideas with the seed money of Rs. 2000 per
student. Each school nominated 3 teams selected by the school panel to
participate in Round 2.
In Round 2, the Zonal / Central panels selected a total of 972 teams. These teams
were assigned coaches who helped them take their idea to the next level.
The Round 2 teams willing to go forward pitched their business ideas to panels
across 28 venues of DoE schools on 25th and 26thFebruary, 2022. The best
pitched ideas were selected for participation in Business Blaster Expo to be
held on March 05, 2022 at Thyagraj Stadium. (As per Annexure-1)

About the Business Blasters Investment Summit & Expo:

Through the Business Blasters program, our students have shown tremendous
potential. They have come up with innovative business ideas, and many of them
have made significant profits. This program has inspired many successful
entrepreneurs to offer support to the program. The investment summit and expo
is a platform for the students to interact with potential investors and supporters.
 The teams selected to participate in the Business Blasters Investment Expo on
March 05, 2022 are listed in Annexure 1.

Orientation Workshop for all selected teams on March 02, 2022

To help prepare the selected teams an orientation workshop is being organized
One Team leader, one other team member, accompanied by concerned EMC
teacher of the selected team must report at the venue for the orientation
workshop at the designated time.
