As a branch of the international network Youth Senate International, we believe that the educated,
employed, and engaged young people possess the power to solve the Europe’s most pressing problems.
For 12 years, we have led and sustained coordinated action to harness the talent and potential of
young people. At the heart of our efforts is building partnerships, initiatives, and curricula that prepare
the young adults to succeed as citizens, employees, entrepreneurs and be change-makers. As well as
facilitate their participation in democratic life.
The core values of our network is making people to believe in better, consider all perspectives equally
and honestly, and create changes that matter. We have driven positive youth development around
Europe.
Through our experience and partnerships, we continue to enrich the global understanding of how to
connect young people with hope, jobs, and a brighter future. Anchored by our mission, we are constantly
deepening our research and bridging new partnerships to innovate and provide scalable, sustainable
solutions for the most challenging problems young people face.
Our mission unites us: together we ensure that young people, especially the marginalized youth,
find the guidance and training to lead productive lives. This collaboration remains central to our success.
We have been participating and organizing youth projects funded by the Youth in Action programme and
Erasmus+ programme in the period 2009-2021. Our goal is raising the European awareness, promoting
non-formal education, digital education, social inclusion, cultural differences and intercultural learning,
tumbling economic barriers and entrepreneurship, greener environment, dealing with social barriers and
self-development of young people.

In order to reach our goals, we organize activities within the scope of employment and combating
social marginalization and exclusion of the youth as well as, tasks connected with education and bringing
up.
Youth Senate is an organisation that works for active citizenship and ethics in lifelong learning,
solidarity and tolerance, mutual understanding between the youth from different areas and countries with
the goal to create a brighter future.

The Youth Senate team has implemented numerous Youth in Action and Erasmus+ programme
projects aimed to educate the young adults and empower the young people on the issues of digital
education, cultural diversity, social barriers, marginalization and discrimination, economic disadvantage
and youth unemployment, leadership and entrepreneurship, and environmental sustainability among the
youth as well as promoting voluntary activities and active citizenship in the EU.
Youth Senate provides local workshops that help the young people to express their potential and
gain practical skills that focus on digital and media literacy, self-development, communication with
others (public speaking, debating etc.), social inclusion through dancing and sport, intercultural
competences and entrepreneurship, using hundreds of different methods.
Our organisation has taken part in over 300 international Youth projects in the past decade that has made
a huge impact on the professional growth of the organisation and the buildup of its capacities.
Now-a-days we have five professional Trainers and Facilitators and five Youth Workers who are
working on a local and international level in the areas of entrepreneurship, sports and social Inclusion of
young people with fewer opportunities.
In complement to our on-the-ground knowledge, we offer our international expertise, decade of
experience, and tested curricula to support members of our European partner network in operating more
effectively and with a greater impact.
Providing one-on-one coaching, workshops, and proven best practices, we build these partners’
capacities in order to serve the youth.
Our methodological approach is based on the following principles: non-formal education, quality with
clear objectives, precise and consistent structure focused on the personal development.

Aleksandar Jevtimov is a Faculty of Law graduate, having graduated


Applied Politics and Diplomacy alongside International law.
With already 16 years of experience in the Youth and European
projects, non-formal education and experiential learning, both on local
and international level, he has designed and delivered as a both
Facilitator and Trainer over 90 youth projects under the EU Youth
programmes and participated in many more.
In 2010 he was elected and is currently serving still as a president

of Youth Senate Macedonia.
He has worked as a community manager, supporting local initiatives, organizing workshops and
networking events, helping young people in startups and enterprises. He is passionate about creating
opportunities for the young people to jump into the world of entrepreneurship.
As a former CEO of two companies, he is empowering young people to start-up their own
businesses, and is a talent coach who recruits new Youth Workers in the Youth Senate network.

Aleksandra Boneva is currently a student at the Faculty of Medicine.


As an enthusiast in non-formal educational methodologies since
2014, when she started working in Youth Senate as a Youth Worker,
she has participated in numerous projects linked to facilitation, project
writing and former EVS for over 6 years.
Her work is connected to leadership, raising awareness, human
rights and self-development of young people.
Her main responsibility in Youth Senate is the selection process and
complete preparation of the participants by covering task - related,
intercultural, linguistic and risk-prevention topics for the upcoming Erasmus+ project.
Her strong suit is connecting and working with people with fewer opportunities, especially the Roma
people.
She is a Facilitator and a Trainer in the Erasmus+ projects around Europe who does things
differently, using numerous creative methods that lead to extraordinary results being delivered.
As a future doctor, she actively works on creating and implementing workshops and events about
social well-being and healthy lifestyle.

Risto Bozhinov is currently a student at the Faculty of Computer Science and


Engineering.
With his participation in Youth Exchanges and Training Courses
and gaining exceptional experience in Youth Work, he successfully
handles writing quality projects and facilitating learning processes.
He is pro-active in the local community with numerous organisations
that work in the field of ecology and social inclusion helping them in
realizing their goals.
He has been active In Youth Senate for 3 years, and is responsible for
selecting participants for projects and supporting them in their activities for dissemination.
He also leads the sector for event management and creative planning which organizes different type
of happenings such as Erasmus+ info days, and raises awareness about local and global issues.

Angela Manasieva is currently a student at the Faculty of Electronic


Business and Management.
She is equipped with knowledge in the fields of entrepreneurship,
digital marketing, branding and web designing. She puts this
knowledge to use through organizing workshops for young people with
fewer opportunities who come from remote rural areas and young
people who need additional help on the mentioned topics.
She aids them in getting a better understanding of innovation and
entrepreneurship, advertising and marketing, how to manage and build up their ideas
into plans, how to make a business and marketing plan, how to pitch their business idea, get familiar with
financial literacy etc.
Throughout her student years she has also been volunteering in Youth non-profit organisations and
student organisations where she mastered excellent communication skills, group project management,
and event organisation and coordination.
Angela has been participating on many Erasmus+ programme Youth Exchanges and Training
Courses for several years.
Since 2019 she is working as a Facilitator of Youth Exchanges, setting her goals and efforts to keep
inspiring young people, to continue motivating them, provide them information, knowledge, resources,
connections and build a big network of young geniuses.
