Who and how can apply for a Staff Training Mobility Grant under Key
Action 1?
Key Action (KA) 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals. This action supports Mobility Training for
staff and professionals involved in education & training. Erasmus+ supports learning mobility
of staff that:
- is framed within a European Development Plan for the sending organisation (aimed
at modernising and internationalising their mission)
Staff Mobility activities can be the professional development of teachers, school leaders or
other education staff in the form of their participation in structured courses or training events
abroad including the CPD (Continuing Professional Development) courses organised at
Cervantes Training in Spain.
Schools, Colleges or Institutions in all education sectors have the possibility to organise
mobility activities within a broader strategic framework. A single grant application presented
by the Head of School will be able to organise several mobility activities, allowing many
individuals to go abroad in different countries over a period of one year.
Mobility Project applications will be assessed on the applications of the 3 Stages of a Mobility
Activity:
- Preparation
- Implementation
- Follow Up (Evaluation and Dissemination included)
To be considered for funding, proposals must score at least 60 points, scoring a minimum of
half of the maximum points of each category. The 100% Award Points will be allocated as
follows:
Such as:
Activities supported under this Action are also expected to produce the following outcomes:
Such as:

The mobility application requests information about the school’s European Development Plan.
Here one will present an overview of how the participation on the Mobility Professional
Development Courses / or Training Event will contribute towards the European Added Value
of the school’s strategy and operation. The main point in the application form will be the
European Strategy for developing the school/organization, where the applicants will have to
motivate their needs and benefits of sending staff to training abroad. The
director/chairman/chairwoman will ask grant that will cover the needs of qualification -

The team of trainers is international and highly qualified and experienced in the field of
Courses for Continuing Education for staff. All our training courses have a strong European
focus in the terms of the content matter. Moreover these activities are an opportunity for
networking opportunities for teachers from all over Europe. Teachers come together to
exchange ideas, compare practices and introduce new ideas to the school and National
Education curricula. The description of all our Teacher Training courses highlight the
objectives, aims and benefits of these courses, and could complement your European
Development Plan.
At this stage Mobility Projects for School Education Staff will not be required to use
eTwinning in connection to your mobility project but you can explain that the course will
provide you with info about eTwinning and use it to add a European dimension in your
organization using TwinSpace between schools across Europe and fostering cooperative work
in the classroom. Cervantes Training will recommend the use of etwinning as a tool for
participants to enter the platform to look for partners and start up European liasions or that
you will use tools from the platform with your students.
Which are the Learning Outcomes from the participation on the CPD courses at
Cervantes Training?
The descriptions of all our Teacher Training courses highlight the objectives, aims, benefits
and learning outcomes of these courses. Preparation, implementation of mobility activities
and follow‐up information are provided on each of Cervantes Training Teacher Training
courses descriptions.
The quality of measures for evaluating the outcomes of the mobility project
In order to ensure and maximise the impact of these activities on professional development
of all staff, schools should make sure that after the mobility the competences acquired by
their staff are well disseminated across the school and integrated into the school teaching
practice. The school should present a dissemination plan for all staff mobility activities: For
example, who is going to benefit from the activity on the return of the staff member? Will
information and activities be distributed on the school intranet or class blogs, by Networking
Staff activities, through internal In‐Service Training sessions in the School, or within School
Regional Associations?
The sending school is responsible for selecting the staff undertaking mobility activities. The
selection process must be fair, transparent, coherent and documented and shall be made
available to all parties involved. The sending school should define the selection procedure,
i.e. how staff will be invited to apply, the documentation that the applicants need to submit
and how it will be treated. The school should define the criteria to be considered in the
selection process. General criteria might be: motivation, clear goals for the mobility,
willingness to share the experience upon return. Sharing or discussing selection criteria and
their rationale with Cervantes Training may facilitate preparation of the activities.
Budget: How much funds are available for each Mobility Activity Abroad? For each
participant?
The funding for each Staff Mobility abroad will contribute to:
1. Travel
2. Organisational Support

For travel distances between 500 and 1999 KM: €275 Euro per participant

http://ec.europa.eu/programmes/erasmus-plus/national-agencies_en.htm
4. Course Fees
Course fees are costs directly related to the enrolment on the course. Course Fees in
Erasmus + are € 70 per participant per training day
All our seven- training fees are 490 Euros, including course fee, tuition fee and social and

can fund the total fee for the mobility. That means your grant will finance the total course

AWARD CRITERIA
! The quality of measures for evaluating the outcomes of the project ! The potential
impact of the project:
1. It is not anymore just teacher training course application, like it was in last funding
season. Now you must make a development project for your school or for consortium. So, if
only one teacher is going to take part in this project from school, it is not good. So, 3-10 is
good amount, depending about size of your school and about the project
2. If there are more than on school who wants to make one application, you must apply as
consortium. (Municipality, owner of schools, etc.) Then PIC code must be consortium code.
Maximum scores in evaluation is 100. If your school gets under 60 points, your school will
not get the grant! Practically with 60-70 points you do not get any grant…not even with 80
or 90 points.
In 2018 round in some countries you had to get more than 95 points to get the grant!!!
Especially Turkey, Romania, Italy… So make this application carefully and with good care!
Making a good KA1 application takes time! You can save it meanwhile and continue.
