INTRODUCTION
BACKGROUND INFORMATION TO INTRODUCE THE ISSUE:

Automation is the replacement of human labor with machine power that automatically performs and
regulates work so that it no longer requires human supervision. This automation process is generally
carried out if it is felt that the previous process took a long time using human labor, then the role of
automation is used to ease the role of human workers.

THESIS STATEMENT OR YOUR POSITION ON THE ISSUE:

The division of labor between humans and automation has changed over time. Technically, there is a
shift away from automation technology that aims to "prohibit human intervention" in nearly all
systems that drive critical tasks. As a result, large numbers of the human population have been
replaced by technology. More seriously, the replacement of humans with technological systems has
enormous implications for social, economic and ethical problems.

Therefore, it is better for the Indonesian government to think more about the increasing
unemployment rate, even those who are now undergraduate are very difficult to get a job, it is
better to take steps that can help unemployed people to get a job, lest automation in the country
is already much then the unemployment and poverty rates got worse.

Indonesia may follow the digital or automation era, but it must think about workers who have
been laid off because of the automation policy and should not make decisions in this matter,
because it will have an impact on the social and economy of this country which is a developing
country.
