ABSTRACT
• In todays life, robotics becomes important in assisting by
human beings. The use of robotic system in fire fighting is being
increasingly studied due to fire fighters, routinely being exposed
to dangerous conditions in order to save lives of victims during
fire accidents.
The main goal of this project is to develop a robotic vehicle
which is used to extinguish the fire remotely through Android
application, in an event of any major fire hazard particularly in
large scale industries. Major fire accidents do occurs in industries
like nuclear power plants, petroleum refineries, gas tanks, chemical
factories and other large industries resulting in quite serious
consequences.
INTRODUCTION
 Robot is a mechanical or virtual intelligent agent that can
perform task automatically or with guidance of human
effort.
  This is movement based robot. It used to sense the fire
and spreads the water over that direction.
 For preventing property damage and reduce deaths, fire
fighting robot is designed. Fire fighting robot is a
mechanical design which performs the human task.
What is a fire fighter robot?
 A robot that detects the fire and extinguish it.
 Should work automatically and detect the flame.
 A good replacement of fireman in dangerous places.
 The robot track the flame.
 When the fire is near, stop and turn on the pump.
 While the water pump is running the robot will keep
sensing the fire, if no flame (fire) then it will turn off the
buzzer and pump.
Objective
 To design, build and test a robot capable of extinguishing
building and basement fires effectively replacing a fire
fighter in highly dangerous situations.
 The implementation of this robot will increase safety of
firefighters and thus will help escape injuries from unsafe
conditions.
 To control the robot remotely via android.
PROBLEMS DEFINITION
• There are several possibilities of fire in every remote area or
in an industry.
• In worst cases scenario, fire causes heavy loses both
financially and by taking lives. Robotics is the best possible
way to guard human lives, a fire fighting robot is designed and
built with an embedded system.
• It is possible of navigating alone on a modelled floor while
actively scanning flames of fire. The robot could be used as a
path guide in emergencies.
• The robot is designed in such a way that it search fire and tries
to extinguishes it.

FINAL MODEL
EXPECTED OUTCOME
• It is a system which works on the basis of the signals provided
by sensors to device.
• Prevent casualties with minimum loss of life and property.
• Use it more efficiently than conventional method of fire
extinguishing.
• Operable with minimum ease and optimum training required
for operation.
• More efficient than a human being in disasters.
Conclusion
•In this project we aim to reduce the effect of fires accidents which
usually start from small flame, therefore people life and money
would be saved.

•The robot can successfully find fire and reach it without running
into obstacle.
•  If we do this innovative project on large scale it will surely save many
lives.
•  As we go into the Future, we will be entering a Technological Era
where humans and robots are going to co-exist.
