users for Heavenly Chocolates Website
The report is designed to provide an overview of online shopper’s transaction
statistics on the Website of Heavenly Chocolates. Descriptive statistical analysis has
been done to analyze the patterns of website usage.

4. Analysis of spending based on time spent on website

The scatter diagram above shows the time spent and amount spent of the 50
respondents. The X axis for the time spent on the website (min), while the Y axis is for
the amount spent in dollar.
The correlation coefficient would be =0.580047616 or =0.58.
It implies that there is a positive connection between the time spent on the website
and the amount spent. Thus, the data illustrates that the more time a customer
spends on the website, the more money they would pay.

5. Analysis of spending based on web page visits

The scatter diagram above shows the amount spent in Dollars based on web pages
viewed by 50 Respondents. The X axis being No. of Pages Visited, and Y is for the
amount spent in Dollars.
The Correlation Coefficient is 0.72
This indicates a very strong positive correlation between the amount spent and the
number of pages viewed. With this we can conclude that more money is spent by
customers who view more web pages.

In the above diagram, X-axis represents the Number of pages viewed, while Y-axis
represents the time spent by customers on the website of Heavenly Chocolates
Correlation Coefficient between Time spent to Number of Pages Viewed = 0.59
This indicates that a positive linear relationship exists between the two parameters
under analysis which are, Number of Pages viewed, and the Time spent by user on
the website.
It can be concluded that, usually users who spent more time on the website browsed
through more pages. However, since the relationship is moderately strong hence, it
does not hold good for all the cases.
To have a positive impact on the business, it is proposed to invest in upgrading the
content of website to ensure the engagement level of online customers are enhanced
and they spend more time on the website.
