1.

A digital audio workstation (DAW) is an electronic device or application software used for recording,

editing and producing audio files. DAWs come in a wide variety of configurations from a single
software program on a laptop, to an integrated stand-alone unit, all the way to a highly complex
configuration of numerous components controlled by a central computer. Regardless of
configuration, modern DAWs have a central interface that allows the user to alter and mix multiple
recordings and tracks into a final produced piece.[1]
DAWs are used for producing and
recording music, songs, speech, radio, television, soundtracks, podcasts, sound effects and nearly any
other situation where complex recorded audio is needed.

2.
Audio Interface (with USB Cable to connect to Laptop, etc)
Audio interfaces convert microphone and instrument signals into a format your computer and
software recognize. The interface also routes audio from your computer out to your headphones and
studio monitors – Example - Focusrite

3.
A microphone (with mike stand), colloquially called a mic or mike (/maɪk/),[1] is a device –
a transducer – that converts sound into an electrical signal. Example – AKG microphone, Technica
microphone
4.
Headphones are a pair of small loudspeaker drivers worn on or around the head over a user's ears.
They are electroacoustic transducers, which convert an electrical signal to a corresponding sound.
Headphones let a single user listen to an audio source privately, in contrast to a loudspeaker, which
emits sound into the open air for anyone nearby to hear. Headphones are also known as earspeakers,
earphones[1] or, colloquially, cans.[2]

5.
Pop filter
The purpose of this is to stop ‘plosives’. Plosives are caused when a singer uses the letter ‘p’ usually or
similar sounding letters such as ‘b’. When sung, these letters, in particular, cause a jet of air to be
forced from the mouth and onto the microphone, which will be very noticeable on the final track. To
stop yourself having to turn away from the microphone every time you use one of these sounds, the
pop filter acts like a little shield. A cheap and easy fix.

6.

Speakers are used to connect to a computer to generate sound, which are one of the most common
output devices. ... With the computer speaker, the computer's sound card creates a signal that is used
to produce sound. The primary objective of speakers is to offer audio output for the listener.
