P3)

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with yours annoying and noisy dogs as well as some
solutions I suggest to deal with this annoying dog.

The small dog you owns often barks at other dogs or pass-by as soon as it sees them. It
sometimes runs around the area and annoys the residents near here. The elderly are also
frustrated about this dog, as it ruins their sleep and their retirement time. Babies near there also
hate the awkward sound it makes. This has long been a matter of concern in this area, so I am
writing to inform you about this problem as well as somethings to do with the dogs. Your dogs
should be sealed or put in your house in order to prevent it from wandering around the area and
causing troubles. As it is no longer free to annoy people, the town would be more peaceful and
liveable. I would be very grateful if you could keep it inside your home and prevent it from
making disturbing noises.

Yours faithfully,

In many parts of the world, It is advisable to take a gap year after high school graduation and
before attending universities or college. This essay will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of
this trend.

On the one hand, taking a gap year has greatly benefited teenagers. Firstly, it is a chance for
youth to find out their true passion and talent. They may realise the path they followed before is
no longer suitable and re-evaluate their choice of career in the universities. Therefore, they can
have a better life after graduating. Secondly, doing so will allow them to take a rest and keep
them well-prepared about the fundamental knowledge, the university choice. It can also helps
them to get used to the pressuring atmosphere at universities. Finally, it provides the teenagers
with practical understanding of their field, not the doctrinaire one they have at school.

On the other hand, it can be disadvantageous for some students to take a gap year after high
school

First of all, without proper guidance they may neglect their study and find others means of
entertainment during this time. As a result, they fail to keep pace with their classmate and don’t
have enough knowledge about their career to be well-prepared in the future. One of the main
disadvantages is that taking a gap year can be expensive for some families to afford.
Accommodation, cost of travelling and other extra budget can sum up quickly and make it
difficult for teenagers to continue their journey. Last but not least, work or travel for a year
between finishing high school and starting university studies can be strange to students, and it
can either be a terrible experience if they lack of communicating or social skill.

In conclusion, taking a gap year could bring about certain benefits, but its negative consequences
should not be overlooked
