1. The company or organization that developed the RFP I found on the internet is International
Labour Organization. Their objective is to increase awareness of child labour and contribute to
its reduction in Bangsamoro Automous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).
2. The RFP produced by ILO is excellent and comprehensive that it surely allows contractors to
comprehend what the stakeholders expect. In return, potential contractors can prepare
thorough proposal that will satisfy the stakeholders’ requirements at a realistic price.
Furthermore, the proposal covers most of the essential topics to be disclosed for the
contractors. What bothers me while checking the proposal was that it lacks the scheduling of
the expected outputs. However, it states that the scheduling happens after choosing who is the
contractor. It may be fine but it is to be noted that a complete RFP induces contractors to
produce well written proposals.
3. I have only minimal revisions of the attached RFP. It can be found on pages 29 and 30. I only
added the schedules of the estimated completion dates. Those are all assumed dates covering
two months each output. I can say that this revised RFP is better than the original because it
now covers the whole input on what is to be included in an RFP. I revised the RFP based on what
my concern is in number 2 question which is the lack of scheduling of major tasks.
4. The website I chose that suggests on developing RFPs is https://www.indeed.com/career-
advice/career-development/how-to-write-an-rfp. The instructions stated is very broad
comparing to the suggestions on how to write an RFP in chapter 2. It does not state to schedule
major tasks, it doesn’t include the time when to pass the contractors will send their proposals,
and furthermore. I can conclude that following these suggestions in the website will deter the
potential contractors from preparing an intelligent proposal that is responsive to the
stakeholders’ needs.
