BU VMQPA
The significance of BU VMQPA is to adhere excellence in that specific field. The
university already produced maxims of competent graduate that are already pace-
maker in the society in which the results are kicking in the industry reflecting to the
university. On other hand, this mission of the university is the reason where there are
many successful graduates in their chosen field. A tremendous duty for the university to
give a quality education for learners to uptake, they raise the bar which the stakeholders
be satisfied to its service. Embodying the BU VMQPA is a work on process, it is a case
of knowing not knowing the qualities we’ve learned as we progress. This definitely will
help me in achieving a successful goal as the growth is centered toward BU VMQPA
system.

SELF INTRODUCTION
I am Alfred Ella Delos Santos and this name was associated with my late
grandfather whose name also similar to mine, Alfredo. A 20-year-old 2 nd year student of
Bicol University taking up the course Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. Why
chemical engineering? Back then I could answer with simply “it’s my dream” however in
this particular events and struggles it is not my dream anymore. I found my dream that
simply suited my character. I know that taking this course will just prolong the goal that I
want to achieve however I’m still up to the challenge that this course may bring and use
this as a stepping stone, I will not back out after a year and half of battles.
I lived in Daet, Camarines Norte which also a place where I took my junior and
senior high school. I attended my junior high school in Camarines Norte National High
School which is a public school that caters a lot of student and thankfully I got a chance
to get in the special science curriculum which is now a science, technology, and
engineering curriculum so we are in a different campus, completely isolated and
surrounded with trees, leaves, and snakes. Despite with that condition, we had a lot of
fun and joyful memories. After that I transferred into a private school Mabini Colleges
Inc. to enroll for my senior high school with STEM as my strand. My two years as a
STEM student were fruitful and I enjoy a lot of events and air conditioned room.
I am an optimistic person, I love being challenge and I am interested on
Japanese culture and their animations. My friends said that they love my humor and
also I got no talent on arts, in singing and dancing. Maybe, I am one of the rarest
talentless person. I got shy when someone compliment me and when I need to
approach a person. But, my friends told me that I am friendly so I’m not worried on
socializing maybe we got that awkward bone in our body. My handwriting was not that
pretty and I’m fast on basic calculation but not in extra hard one. My family consist of my
parents, my 3 siblings – 2 older sisters and 1 older brother, and my nephew. I am the
youngest and always be the happy pill of my family.

ANSWER BRIEFLY
In your perspective, why is the study of communication relevant to your life and
to your future profession? Cite specific instances of its significance.
 In a regular everyday life, communication is always use to convey our thoughts.
On personal level of communication, we need to understand and place ourselves
to allow it to accurately recognize information and deliver a better message that
easily understood to develop relationships. On professional level, good
communication skills are a must to properly deliver any deliberation, logic
reasoning, and analyzing and solving problems.
 I remember the comic that I was reading a year ago, the protagonist is an actress
and she said “my life is dedicated to communicate, to communicate to others and
to communicate to my character”, I want to share this line because
communication is a key factor to any instances of life.

PURPOSE OF COMMUNICATION
From among the five purposes of communication, which do you think is the most
essential for you to develop which can be beneficial to you once you practice your
profession?
 The essential thing that I need to develop the most is to PERSUADE. I find it
hard because it is centered on the listener or reader. Specially on the field of
profession, at some point we need to convince the client to use this and that
product or process and to show higher ups that this project is essential and
important. To inform or simply giving information and facts are scant if we cannot
convince them.

MOVIE WORTH TO WATCH!

When you want something musical, animated,

and with full of warm emotions, Liz to Aoi Tori or
Liz and the Blue Bird is your next movie to watch
and this movie is the side story for the animated
series Hibike! Euphonium that’s why I encourage
to watch the series’ first.
With its melancholy and sentimental approach,
I feel like the longer you watch the movie, the more
vulnerable it leaves you as it skins back layer after
layer of unspoken sentiment and desire. This
movie is packed with powerful emotion yet there is
no huge drama happened, this leaves me with
trembling emotion that almost broke my heart into
shattered glasses.
I fell in love with this movie specially with its
plot that revolves on the musical piece that was
based on the folk story Liz and the Blue Bird that
also intertwined with the two main character story as they prepare to part ways in their
final year of high school.
The gentle and sincere touch of this story along with its beautiful music, this
movie is definitely worth to watch as it has nice message of friendships.
