Research on the following:

1. Uses and Sources of Energy in Bukidnon

 The use of the source of energy in Bukidnon is to supply energy and electricity to
Bukidnon. The source of energy comes from the Pulangi dam which is part of the
Pulangi river. The Pulangi dam is a hydroelectric power plant which is the one
that generate the electricity in Bukidnon.

2. Alternative Sources of Energy in Bukidnon

 The alternative source of energy in Bukidnon is solar energy because many
houses uses this type of energy in order to light and power their homes. Unlike the
Pulangi dam which is a hydroelectric power plant that makes use of the current of
the water to produce electricity, the solar energy is making use of the energy from
the sun or we could say that it collects the energy from the sun and converts it to
electricity that the people use to power their homes.

Answer these Questions:

1. Do you agree on the establishment of nuclear power plant in Bukidnon? Yes, or No?
why?
 The establishment of nuclear power plant in Bukidnon is a really tempting project
and will give many benefits, but surely there will be also an equal negative effect.
No, I don’t agree and wont recommend it because it can destroy the environment
here and also it produce a radiation that could affect the health of the people here
in Bukidnon. Also the waste from the nuclear power plant will be hard to dispose
and it could destroy the environment.

2. Cite ways on how to conserve energy. (at least 3)

 Unplug gadgets that are not use.
 Use LED instead of Light bulb
 Turn off the lights if not use and utilize natural light instead.
