Fungisai to stage farewell show

SONGBIRD Fungisai Zvakavapano-Mashavave stages one of her last shows in Harare at the Harare Gardens tomorrow
afternoon before her maiden appearance in the UK next month.

Vabati VaJehovah and Mercy Mutsvene support her at the show where Fungisai’s designer wear and both audio
and video music will be on sale.

Sulumane Chimbetu tonight launches his album Ndomusiya Nani at the Sports Diner before combining with the
Charambas for the Blakiston Primary School Fundraising Family Show tomorrow afternoon.

In the evening, Chimbetu plays at Mushandirapamwe Hotel.

Jazz 105 tonight hosts Victor Kunonga before Bob Nyabinde rocks the joint tomorrow night.

On Sunday, Summer Breeze performs at the premier jazz club.

Alick Macheso descends on Chinhoyi Stadium at a 12-hour non-stop Summer Splash tonight where Cephas
Mashakada, Progress Chipfumo, Kapfupi, Peter Tangwena, Mambokadzi, King Labash of the Kukonzeresa fame, James
Nyamandi, Assegai Crew and Solo Makore and his Fogo Fire are part of the act.

Macheso leads the contingent back to the capital where they play at the City Sports Centre near the Harare Exhibition
Park.

On Sunday, Macheso, Mambokadzi Dance Group, Freddy "Kapfupi" Manjalima, King Labash and Assegai Crew play in
Kadoma’s Rimuka Stadium for the Mayor Christmas Cheer Fund Benefit Concert.

The Benefit Concert also features a soccer match pitting CAPS United and Kadoma Select.{mosgoogle right}

The BV Labien Musica performs at Shamva Cocktail Bar in Shamva before returning to the capital where they entertain
patrons at their traditional venue Club M5

Tongai Moyo shares the stage with Dino Mudondo and Girls of Peace tonight at Club Lashers in Budiriro before he
packs for Tendai Hall in Bindura where he clashes with resurgent Tedious Matsito and Girls of Peace tomorrow night.

High-riding Takesure Muronzi and his Pasi Vanhu Stars make a date with Aaron Chakanyuka Chinamira at Mhangura
Beer Hall tonight.

Tomorrow Muronzi, famed

for Shamwari Yangu Hautenge Hwahwa, and Chinamira share the stage at Doma Sports Club near Mhangura.

M5 hosts Hosiah Chipanga tonight and on Sunday Nyakasikana Dancing Queens and the New Millennium Queens
alternate on stage.

Kubatana Marimba Group entertains patrons at Pamuzinda Highway X-Scape tomorrow and Sunday.

Allan Chimbetu will be at Club Matute in Mbare tonight while Progress Chipfumo returns to the same spot on Sunday.

Mbira outfit Mawungira Enharira returns to the Book Café for their regular Friday concert tonight.

Tomorrow, the venue hosts rapper Yagga alongside the Motivators and the Mighty Ducks in the afternoon while Luck
Street Blues featuring guitarist Dave Ndoro plays at the same venue in the evening.

Songstress Prudence Katomeni-Mbofana and Jazz Invitation invade Mannenberg Jazz Club tonight with Victor Kunonga
taking control of jazz connoisseurs at the same haven tomorrow.

Sam Mtukudzi croons at the Bulldogs Pub and Grill tonight at a show certainly not to miss.

Madzibaba Nicholas Zakaria plays at Gweru Sports Club tonight in the City of Progress before he proceeds to Bulawayo

Meanwhile, Chipaz Promotions director Patson Chimbodza has apologised to Alick Macheso fans in Mabvuku-Tafara
following the disruption of his show last week due to power failure.

"We would like to thank fans for their patience despite a series of power failures at Alick Macheso’s show in
Mabvuku last week.

"We have learnt from our
