CHAPTER 01: INTRODUCTION

Description of the organization

Sultan’s Fashion is a sole proprietorship business where he along with his two stuffs performs all
the business activities. It is located at the Aziz Super Market, Dhaka. Mr. Sulan Rahman, the
owner of Sultan’s Fashion, invested money borrowing from the bank. He goes to Narayangang to
purchase the products once in a week and sell these products during the whole week. The
customers of his business mainly are the students and the young employees.

There are 3 processes involved in ordering food from him:

1. Customers search for cloth items physically from the shop


2. Then know the customer about the selected products and confirm the order
3. Making payment (using cash only)
Description of computer-based systems of Sultan’s Fashion:

There is no automated system for Sultan’s Fashion.

Description of manual systems of Sultan’s Fashion:


 Purchase: Mr Sultan purchases the products from the various garments of
Narayanganj Districts.
 Sales: His sales include shirts, t-shirt, pants, trouser, jersey, jacket etc.
 Traditional Accounting: There is a staff member who sits in the store to manage
cash dealings. The cash payment system is always cash only.
 Customer Services: There’s been an option to return the products if necessary to
provide loyalty to the customers.

CHAPTER 2: PLANNING

Problem Identification:

Since Sultan’s Fashion is not automated even no particular function is not automated,
there are many problems. These problems are:

 Sultan’s Fashion has no IT department to create its own website or online order
system. Customer need to go the shop physically and make purchase.
 There is no marketing department for Sultan’s Fashion. Thus there is no focus on
customer review and no way to know the loyal customers.
 Sultan’s Fashion has no online payment system.

Problem description and scope for future developments:

There are many ways to use the IS via which Sultan’s Fashion can develop its existing
manual systems. The following scopes are:
● Software development: Introducing a website for Sultan’s Fashion.

● Package implementation: Introduce sentiment analysis to understand customers’


emotions regarding the purchasing behavior of Sultan’s Fashion.

● System Enhancement and website development: Develop an app for Sultan’s


Fashion and introduce a tracking system for delivery men where the customers can
track the current location of the delivery man and reach the product to the desired
customer safely.

We are planning to create a website for Sultan’s Fashion and automate its business. The
automated system of Sultan’s Fashion will help them to develop their business. The
website will include a menu and an online ordering system. Customers can visit the
website and select and order any food item they want from Sultan’s Fashion. This will
reduce hassle and save time and money. This will also ease the system of ordering.

 In familiarity with the application: With a website, we have more
familiarity and less risk.
 Familiarity with technology: Sultan’s Fashion is not accustomed to
an automated system that will generate more risk.
 Project size: It is a small project comparatively so it will have less
risk Compatibility, Compatibility is higher so it has less risk.

 Operational feasibility: Our project will help to achieve customer satisfaction by


introducing an automated system. This will help Sultan’s Fashion to elevate their
customers' experience by improving the fields where customers are facing
problems.

 Scheduling feasibility: The deadline for our project's strategy, the plan is
achievable and realistic.

 Legal and contractual feasibility: No aspects of our proposed system conflict


with any legal requirements.

 Political feasibility: The key stakeholders of Sultan’s Fashion view our proposed
system to be extremely beneficial for both the customers and the organization.

capabilities and The To-Be diagram describes the future state; in other words, how the
