UEBERT & BEBE ANGEL

The founders of Spirit Embassy (The Good News Church) World-
wide, Prophets’ Uebert and BeBe Angel are excited to bring you
The Good News Daily Kids Devotional.

Each day makes the word of God so much fun! We’ve made sure
every lesson is easy to read and understand.
Children will be encouraged as they read and speak prophetic
declarations into their lives every day. The devotional also in-
spires little ones to have their own quiet times through further
studies and notes sections where their thoughts can be jour-
naled. The roots of the Christian faith will be driven deeper in
their tender hearts as they grow spiritually and understand
the Good News of God’s grace in their early years.

November 1 What is faith?

Hebrews 11:1
Faith means being sure of the
things we hope for. And faith
means knowing that something
is real even if we do not see it.

EXPERIMENT
Here is an experiment that’ll help
you understand faith a little bet-
ter. Try it out only when you’re
with a grown up. Take a blindfold
or anything that can cover your
eyes. Once you’ve done that, try
to see if you can walk ten steps,
in a straight line, without see-
ing anything. Your helper will be
right beside you the whole time
just in case you fall. Just think about it, is it easy to walk in
complete darkness?

You see, faith is like not being able to see but knowing that
God is there the whole time to lead you. All you need to do
is keep hearing God’s voice through His word. When you have
faith, you can speak, and things happen. You’re no longer
worried about anything. It’s like having a superpower that
works in real life!
Best part is - you can start practising faith now!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I am full of faith. Everything I say comes to pass. I can
never lose in Jesus Name!

November 2 Faith like a rhino

Hebrews 11:1
We walk by faith, not by what
we can see.

Have you ever seen an animal

called a rhinoceros either on T.V.
or at a zoo? It’s a great animal
and because its name is so long,
most people just call it a rhino.
Here’s a fact about a rhino you
might not know - It can’t see
properly!
So, what happens when it goes
hunting? it closes its eyes and
hunts like it’s completely blind,
but it wins every time.

Copying the rhinos’ faith is a good idea because it means you

should not look at things around you that you can see with
normal eyes no matter how bad you think they are. Learn
to see using your spirit which is inside you. That just means
nothing is hard anymore for you. That’s faith.

Remember, God is with you the whole time. You can do any-
thing!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I have faith like a rhino. I don’t look at bad things around
me, I only see the good things God sees!

November 3 Faith loves exercise

Ephesians 2:10
For we are God’s masterpiece…

If you don’t run for a very long

time, have you ever seen that the
day you start running again your
muscles hurt? That means you
haven’t exercised in a while.

Faith is like your muscles. You

must exercise it, so it grows
strong! If you don’t practise or
exercise your faith, it becomes
weak. I know you’d like to know
how to exercise your faith.

Well, by reading your Bible and

understanding what it says. Once
you’ve done that, you start telling headaches to go and they’ll
listen. You can tell yourself you’re doing well in a test at
school, and it’ll happen because your faith is growing every
day.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
My faith shall continue to grow stronger and stronger
every day as I exercise it. I am so blessed to have faith
in Jesus Name!

November 4 Faith is my money

Matthew 21:22
And whatever you ask God in
prayer, you will receive, if you
have faith

If you go to the store to buy

your favourite food, do you just
leave after you get it or you pay
first? Of course, you must pay
first. If you don’t have the money
to pay, you just go back home
with nothing.

Faith is like how we use money on

earth. If you don’t have faith, you
can’t prophesy things and they
happen right away. You can’t say
you will win yet you don’t have faith. You must believe and
know for sure that what you say is true even if it doesn’t
sound or feel like it.
God’s word says you’re a winner already, I know this is true
because God doesn’t lie. So today, use your faith just like
you’d use money, it will get you what you need.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I have faith that my day is blessed today. And because I
have faith, everything I do at school or at home is per-
fect in Jesus Name!

November 5 I CAN DO IT!

Luke 1:37
For nothing will be impossible
with God.

Think of the hardest thing you

could ever try to do. Is it climb-
ing a mountain? Or is it being the
best at sports?

Today’s verse tells us that noth-

ing is impossible with God. That
means God can do anything. And
if God can do anything, you can
do anything because you belong
to Him! Never tell yourself you
can’t do anything. Even if it’s the
hardest, keep telling yourself, “I
CAN DO IT”.

Remember, faith is all about practice and exercise. The more

you exercise it, the stronger it gets.

It’s easy - Start now.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
I can do anything I say I can do. My day today shall
be easy because I have said it by faith. Thank you Lord
Jesus!!

November 6 I AM STRONG

1 Corinthians 16:13
Be alert. Continue strong in the
faith. Have courage, and be
strong

If a very strong wind blows while

you’re playing outside, sometimes
the wind is powerful enough to
blow you to one side. Has that
ever happened to you or someone
you know?
Now, in today’s lesson, the Bible
verse is telling you to be strong
in your faith, always. So, if some-
thing happens that isn’t so good,
you are still strong through it. It’s
like that big wind trying to blow
you to one side, but you keep
standing like a strong tree. Tell yourself no matter what hap-
pens, you remain strong in faith.

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

to one side in my life shall never work. I have Jesus in me!

Do you remember the experiment
we did on the first day of the
month? You had to be blindfolded
to see if you could walk ten steps
in a straight line. The experiment
was all about understanding faith
and trusting God.

Today’s verse says the same thing

in a different way. As a Christian,
you must rely on what God says
and not what you feel. What we
feel changes all the time so we can’t count on that. Some-
times you feel angry for no reason, sometimes sad, some-
times happy and sad at the same time, it can be confusing.
So, you can’t rely on your own feelings or what you think is
best for you. Rely on God. He knows everything that’s best
for you. He made you, that’s why he knows better.

November 8 Who is The Holy Spirit?

Acts 5:32
…the Holy Spirit, whom God has
given to those who obey him.

If you’ve been to church then I know

you’ve heard your Pastor or your par-
ents, or just people from church talk
about the Holy Spirit.
Here’s an experiment to help you un-
derstand The Holy Spirit better!

EXPERIMENT:
Ask a grown up to help you boil an
egg until it’s well done.
-OR- You could just imagine a hard-
boiled egg if you’ve eaten one before!

Now, could say that just the shell

alone is an egg. Or does the yolk or
whites alone make up an egg? It takes all three parts to make an
egg. God is three persons in One God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Each one is fully God. God the Father, God the Son, and God the
Holy Spirit. Not three Gods. That means the Holy Spirit is a person.

The biggest job of the Holy Spirit is to be in you every single sec-
ond. He is there to help you with everything you need in your life!
He’s your best friend!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION

remembrance all things that I
said to you.”

Today’s verse gives you some

clues as to what the Holy Spir-
it does in your life. Can you spot
those things and say what they
are?

Let’s see if you got it; he’s your

helper, he teaches you all things,
and helps you to remember the
things God promised you in his
word. Do you see that?

Because the Holy Spirit is your helper, tell me, how can you
fail at anything? You have the best helper in the world! Just
talk to him and include him in everything that you do. He’s
listening.

Sometimes there are challeng-

es that happen in your life as
a Christian. It doesn’t feel good
when some of them happen but
always know that the Holy Spir-
it is your comforter. What does
‘comforter’ mean anyway? It
means someone who makes you
feel better and someone who
stands up for you!

He is a master at giving you com-

fort. So it’s easy to smile even if you go through those tough
challenges.

Just because sometimes you feel
like there’s no one around you
doesn’t mean there isn’t.
Remember, The Holy Spirit lives
in you! You carry him everywhere
you go! At school, at home, while
you’re playing, or sleeping or

you.

So today put a big smile on your

John 3:7
Don’t be surprised when I say,
‘You must be born again.

Now this is the most important les-

son of all! I’m sure a lot of you
have been told by your parents
stories about your birth. How ev-
eryone was so excited when you
were born.

Now even the Bible talks about be-

ing born again, it doesn’t mean you
have to be born twice. It means
The Holy Spirit gives you a brand
new spirit when you receive Je-
sus Christ as your Saviour. So, your
spirit is the one that gets to be
‘born twice’. Everyone needs that brand new spirit so that you
can contain Jesus and live life with him.

All the good things in the Bible and this amazing friendship
with the Holy Spirit can only be used by people who’re born
again. See why it’s important to be born again?

If you have never told God you’d like to give your life to Him,
you can go to the end of this devotional and say the prayer
you’ll find there with all your heart. Once you’ve done that
you’re born again. It’s so easy!!

November 13 Super Fruits!

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is
love, joy, peace, patience, kind-
ness, goodness, faithfulness,
gentleness, and self-control…

What would you say is your favourite

fruit? Let me guess; Is it a banana?
Or maybe it’s an apple or a straw-
berry? Everyone has a favourite and
mine is a mango!
Now look at today’s verse. It says
you will know a tree by the fruit it
has, and the tree that the verse is
talking about with all these amazing
fruits is you! Does that mean you will
be growing apples from your elbow
and bananas from your ear? No
!
These are spiritual fruits that grow on the inside of you because
you’re friends with the Holy Spirit. Trees have only 1 fruit, but you
have lots of different kinds of fruits. When people see a tree like
you, it makes them want to sit under it and enjoy the fruits you
give. So, your life as a child of God means you love others, you have
joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and you
are able to control yourself – especially when you’re really upset,
and you feel like doing something bad.
This proves you have the Holy Spirit in you!

around me in Jesus Name!

tize you with water. But one
who is more powerful than I
will come, the straps of whose
sandals I am not worthy to un-
tie. He will baptize you with the
Holy Spirit and fire.

Do you know what baptism is?

First of all, Baptism is a BIG deal!
It’s like your one-time announcement
that you follow Jesus. You get dunked
in and out of water and that’s it-
you’re baptised! I know a lot of you
like to wear a sports jersey or sports
kit to show the team you support.
That’s what it’s like when you get
baptised, you’re showing the whole
world that you are a child of God –
his number one fan! Now the baptism in today’s verse is a little dif-
ferent than being dunked in water. This one is a Holy Spirit baptism.

Here’s an experiment:
Find a glass that has a lid on it. Pour water from a cup over the
glass. Of course, no water will go into the glass because the lid is
on it. God wants to fill us with His Spirit. He is pouring His Spirit
out on boys and girls all over the world and He wants to pour His
Spirit out on you as well. You must take the lid off by saying, “Lord,
I want more of You. I want You to fill me full of your Holy Spirit in
Jesus Name.”

experiences! Try it out now!

Nehemiah 8:10b
“The joy of the Lord makes you

Did you know that you have joy?

Well, you may ask, what is joy
exactly? Is it the same as hap-
piness? No! When things happen
around you, sometimes good and
sometimes bad, joy stays the
same. You’re the one who decides
to use joy like a super-power
that makes sure you’re always
happy! If you are disappointed,
you do not lose your joy. If you
do not do so well in a test at
school, you still remain joyful.

Joy has been given to you by God as a benefit of being born

joy that is beyond words.

Sometimes it can feel like a bub-

the Good News. You can be full of joy all the time, yes, all
the time! Chores or no chores, homework or no homework
–the joy that comes from the Holy Spirit stays the same,
whether things are good or bad. In fact, when you are full

There may be no sheep in the

Most of us have seen popular TV

programmes like The X-Factor!
A team of judges searches for a
new star, someone who stands out,
someone who has the X-Factor!
Well, there is something greater
than the X-Factor, and that is the
Joy-Factor! What is the Joy-Factor? The Joy-Factor is walking
knowing that you are a child of God and choosing to allow the
love of God in you to control how you behave towards others.
If someone upsets you at school, you do not begin to sulk, but
you remain joyful. If you do not get the results you wanted in
the spelling test, you do not become grumpy, you remain joyful.
When you choose joy, you automatically stand out, in your class,
in your school, and among your friends. You will become a won-
der! Remember we learnt about the fruits of the Spirit, and
we saw that joy is one of them. When you have joy, everyone
enjoys being close to you - it is an amazing fruit of the spirit!

When you look into the mirror,

what do you see? That’s right, you
see a reflection of you! When
you are born again, everything
changes, you become a new
person in Christ. And yet these
changes happen on the inside of
you, not on the outside.

So, when you look into the mirror

now that you are born again, you
still look like you, and yet everything has changed. Most
importantly, your nature has changed. Just like a dog barks,
and a cat meow, as a Christian you have joy!

do what he needed to, to get the
money, he ended up living as a
poor man? Isn’t that sad?! Imag-
ine being a prince but begging
on the street because you do
not know who you are! All week
we have been talking about joy,
and as a Christian, you absolutely
have joy. But you must know it
and choose joy in every situation by using your faith.
That simply means that you must believe that you have joy,
choose joy rather than sadness, speak joy and then you will
see joy in your behaviour.

Read scriptures about joy, think about them, speak them to

yourself, and your attitude and behaviour will always reflect
joy! Even those around you, your parents, your brothers and
sisters and your friends will also have the same joy because
you have so much to spread around!

“What do you say?” Have your

parents said this to you when
someone gives you a present

thank them? “Thank you”. Two
simple, yet very powerful words.
Even when you give a friend a
birthday gift, the usual thing
you expect them to say is thank
you, right? Well guess what? God
expects you and I to appreciate
Him and say thank you all the
time. No, not saying it constantly
throughout the day, but rather showing Him that we are
grateful for everything He has done and will keep doing for
us.

For example, if something does not go your way today in class

do you listen to them because
you know that is the right thing

In today’s scripture we read that

everything we do or say should be done for Jesus (and not
people). We should share for Jesus, we should give for Jesus,
we should love for Jesus. And as we do that, we should also

a phone to talk and listen to God?
Pretty amazing, huh?! You don’t
need to speak to Him through
your mum or your dad, you can
go to Him as you, hallelujah!
Jesus said let the little children
come to me! (Matthew 19:14) So we know for sure, God listens
to children too! In today’s scripture we are told that when we
pray, we should always give thanks. Why? Because thanking
God means you believe what you just prayed has already
been given. You usually say thank you after you’ve been given
something, but faith says thank you before – because you
know it will happen for sure. So, no prayer is quite complete
without thanking God for the answer.

You can be confident that God hears you, so in the same way
you would thank your dad for giving you a gift, thank God
for the answers to your prayers.

Thanksgiving Day today and we’ve
been learning about thanksgiving
this week!
Take a look at today’s scripture.
It’s like finding a treasure chest
filled with gold, hidden in your
garden. It is almost too good to
be true! Did you know that God
listens to you every time you talk
to Him? That is the amazing thing
about being His child. You do not have to wait until 1 o’ clock
to have a meeting with Him. You can talk to Him at any time!
If God listens to you every time you pray, then you know
that He will respond to what you have said! You know that
he gives you the things that you are asking for!
It should therefore be automatic for you to thank God every
single time you talk to Him. Thank him for everything he has
done for you and your family. Thank Him for life. Thank Him
for loving you. Thank Him for being so AMAZING!

Today’s scripture tells us that of-
fering our lives also thanks God.
But what does offering your life
as a living sacrifice look like?
What does it mean? It simply means living your life for God.
Just like we read on Tuesday, in everything that you say and
in everything that you do, you should do it for Jesus.
Remember that it is no longer you (as yourself) who is living,
but it is Christ who is living in and through you. Thank God
today by allowing Him to be praised in everything that you
do!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Today and always, I choose to offer my life as a thanks-
giving to God. May He be praised in everything that I do.
Amen.

Psalm 100:4
“Enter into His gates with
thanksgiving, And into His
courts with praise. Be thankful
to Him, and bless His Name.”

How does it make you feel when

one of your friends keeps thank-
ing you for something that you
have done for them? Absolutely,
it makes you feel good! Appreci-
ated! Loved!

Did you know that God is no dif-

ferent? It makes Him “feel” good
when we thank Him in our hearts,
with our words and in our actions.
Be a person who is continually
thankful to God. It doesn’t mean thank Him ten times a day
so he’s happy - there are no limits when it comes to thank-
ing God. Just have a heart that is grateful, and show it! So,
express your thanks to Him on a daily basis!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Father, I thank You for all that you have done. I will al-
ways thank You because You are My God!

November 28 Thank your way to more

John 6:11
“And Jesus took the loaves, and
when He had given thanks He
gave them out to His disciples,
who gave them to the people.
Similarly He did this with the
fish, as much as they wanted.

Do you know the story of Jesus

feeding the five thousand? It is
your homework to read the sto-
ry fully in John 6:1-14. What we
want to focus on here is where
Jesus gave thanks, and then the
miracle of multiplication took
place. What is multiplication? The
process of increasing. When you
start with a little and it becomes
much. How could Jesus take five loaves of bread and two fish
and feed over five thousand people, to the point when they
had eaten more than enough?
It’s because He gave thanks! In Him thanking God, that is
where the miracle of the food increasing took place. So what
can we learn from this story?
There is power in giving God thanks. When we thank God,
and live a life of being grateful, God is able to multiply ev-
erything that we have. This is how we can thank our way to
more!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
Thank you my father for my life. Thank you for every
blessing coming my way today, I am grateful!

November 29 Love is my nature

Romans 5:5
“And this hope will never dis-
appoint us, because God has
poured out his love to fill our
hearts. God gave us his love
through the Holy Spirit, whom
God has given to us”

When did you last have some

tasty fried chicken or sausages?
Even though it is the way that
the meat is cooked that gives it
the taste, did you know that it
also helps if the meat is marinat-
ed before cooking?
What does marinated mean?
Marinated means that the meat
is left to soak in a sauce to make
it take in all of the lovely flavours. It is a bit like a sponge
being soaked in water, when you squeeze the sponge, out
comes the water! God has marinated our heart with His love.
He has poured His love into our hearts. What does this mean?
It means that as a child of God, love is now your nature. Love
is not what I do, but it is who I am!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
God has given me His love by the Holy Spirit. My heart is
filled with His love. My nature is to love.

November 30 It’s a love thing

1 Corinthians 13:1
“I may speak in different lan-
guages of men or even angels.
But if I do not have love, then I
am only a noisy bell or a ringing
cymbal.”

Experiment: I want you to try

this experiment at home. Find
a noisy instrument or toy in
your toy box, and keep playing
it around the house as loudly as
you can! After doing this for a
few minutes, see if any of your
family members ask you to stop.
When they do, ask them why?
What was their reason for asking
you to stop playing? Is it irritat-
ing? Is it annoying? Is it just too loud?
In today’s verse, we see that even if we speak with the most
beautiful and angelic languages, without love, we will be just
like that annoying, noisy instrument. Love is what makes the
difference!
Just like a cow moos and a pig oinks, you love as a child of
God. Today be who you were created to be in Christ, and love
everywhere you go!

PROPHETIC DECLARATION
The love of God has been poured into my heart. As I love
everywhere I go, the love of God in me is making a dif-
ference.
