Narrative Report on the conduct of Nestle Wellness Campus Program

Grade 1

A healthy lifestyle is all about looking after your healthy life and healthy body as well.
Nestle Wellness Campus Program was conducted with the aim to make learners reflect upon
their lifestyles. A healthy lifestyle mainly includes following healthy eating habits, taking
adequate sleep, getting plenty of fresh air, and squeezing in some time for physical exercise each
day.

Plaridel Elementary School’s grade 1 students engaged in one of the pre-pandemic


activities of the Nestle Wellness Campus program. The teachers in Grade 1 encouraged each
pupil to adopt an active way of living through doing wellness activities like eating healthy food,
drinking 6-8 glasses of water per day, and exercising using the Wellness dance challenge.
Parents were also in helping to raise awareness and develop a healthy lifestyle for their child, to
make them feel good and boost their self-esteem. It is important to maintain a healthy lifestyle by
doing what is right for your body and will add value to your life for a long time. The benefits of a
healthy lifestyle extend to not only having a good level of fitness but also improving memory
and brain health. Our daily habits have a tremendous impact on how we feel. A healthy and
active lifestyle can lead to a better mood and increased energy levels which makes you get
through your day with much more enthusiasm and a happy mindset. As teachers, we believe that
with healthy minds, bodies, and spirits, students are empowered to experience academic success
and will increase competence in handling outside situations.
