New Bezel Design on Wayne Ovation™ Fuel Dispensers

July 24, 2017 – A new generation bezel for Wayne Ovation™ fuel dispensers will begin production in August 2017. The
redesigned bezel supports Wayne’s new capacitive touch display assembly. The display assembly incorporates the lat-
est in strengthened glass and capacitive touch technology to deliver unsurpassed durability.

The new bezel also incorporates the use of the new DW-14 low profile serial printer. Please note that this new printer is
running in RS-232 mode and cannot be interchanged with the USB printer used in other Ovation dispensers. Also, be
advised that the dispenser must have the same type printer on both sides to function correctly. If printer replacement
becomes necessary, replace like-for-like.

New service parts and descriptions:

WU015602-xxxx, Display Glass Assembly, VGA
WU015598-xxxx, Display Glass Assembly, QVGA
WU015106-0001, Keypad, QVGA (softkeys are now keypads located behind the glass)
WU015107-0001, Keypad, VGA (softkeys are now keypads located behind the glass)
WU012783-0001, Printer, DW-14, RS-232, (without sensor)
WU015789-xxxx, Sales/Volume Display Glass Assembly (glass is different size from the existing and new type gasket)
WU015753-0001, Unit Price Display Glass Assembly (glass is same size as the existing, but new type gasket)

The following service parts have not changed:

The Printer Paper Sensor (WM036596) is the same sensor used for the existing low profile USB printer. The Printer Data
Cable (883924-002) is the same cable used for the existing DW-12 and other serial printers.

As shown in Figure 1 on the following page, the whole display module is easily removed to service the individual parts in
the assembly. The touchscreen glass and the keypads behind the glass are new, however, the actual displays have not
changed. Figure 2 shows the touchscreen glass on VGA and QVGA.
