DT 318 – CAD (COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN) SYSTEM
First Semester – A.Y. 2021-2022

A. COURSE DETAILS

COURSE NAME CAD (COMPUTER AIDED DESIGN) SYSTEM


Course Description This is a five-unit subject and has time allotment of 90 hours. It covers four (4) main topics, i.e. CAD History, uses of CAD, CAD
commands and CAD layout. It deals also with the recognized drawing room health and safety practices that are essential in
achieving quality and comprehensive plan or working drawing as practiced in industry. Moreover, the drawing students are also
expected to gain proper knowledge, skills and attitudes on how to use, to recycle and to reuse materials in drawing, and how to
protect environment for sustainable development and observe gender equality as well.
