 The scene where Danny found out that Loleng is diagnosed with Alzheimer’s
Disease truly showed the art of acting as he showed intense drama to the scene.
 The scene of Nanette, the spouse of Art, and Rommel, her son, when they had
a heart-to-heart conversation shows the art of cinematography and set design as
the director chose the roof as the set and the director’s careful shot of the
scene.

 The scenes where the four cardinals were murdered (except for the fourth one)
showed effective editing, cinematography, and set design because each of the
scene of murder was made believable (editing), has a thrilling action that
engages the audiences thanks to the movement of the camera
(cinematography), and the places of the scenes were appropriate for the theme
(set design).
 The scene where the Camerlengo confronts the cardinals shows the art of
acting as the characters dramatized the mood of the scene.
 The scenes of the finding of the Church of Illumination showed effective and
engaging theme and effects for the film (Film directing)
COMPARISON OF FILIPINO AND FOREIGN FILM
A. The Filipino film creates a natural background for cultural traditions of the
Philippines. The themes of Filipino films associate to present issues. Although, it
presents many cliché themes like mistress-related issues. Filipino films aren’t
generally free to new ideas. But despite of the imperfection, it is very engaging to
the audience.
B. Foreign films, American films in particular, are very free in genre. It offers variety
of themes. Its similarity with Filipino movies is the fact that both are based on
culture of people or groups. Both depicts strong moral.
