4 Final tests

After the mounting has been done according to the earlier stated instructions, the completed device has
to be tested according to the following instructions. Testing may only be done by sufficiently skilled
persons, who have proper authorization to do the work. The tools needed must also be appropriate for
the work.

4.1 Check that the mounting (see section 3) has been done correctly and with care.

4.2 Turn the switch manually at least five times (0 – I – 0 – II - 0) with a manual handle
that is in the OEM package. Verify by measuring that the switches’ contact mode is
the same in every position as the position indication of the motor operator (see table 2
below).

4.6 Switch the supply voltage on the motor operator. Verify by measuring that the voltage to be switched
on corresponds to the voltage written on the type plate of the motor operator.
4.7 Verify by measuring that the metal parts of the switch and motor operator are dead.
4.8 Regulate the motor operator’s supply voltage 0.85 x Un. Verify the correct voltage level by
measuring it.
4.9 Control the switch by giving the operating commands I – 0 – II – I – II – 0.
Confirm that the position changes precisely

the switches are operated completely to the end position

Repeat the commands at least three times.

4.10 Disconnect the supply terminals and control terminals from the motor operator.
4.11 Verify that the motor operator‘s fuse is intact.
4.12 Enter the test results into books. Stamp the switch, which passed the tests, to be
properly tested. The stamp must state the identification of the tester and the date of the test.
