What type of communication is appropriate for each of the situations? Then, justify your answer
Situation 1
Mr. Fukuda works as a train traffic controller in one of the busiest railways in Japan. One (1)
afternoon, he noticed that Train A should slow down immediately and change its track to avoid
collision with Train B. He tried to radio the train operator but all he got was static noise.
Nonverbal communication seems to me to be the most appropriate method of
communication in this case. Mr. Fukuda should utilize a hand signal to let another captain
on Train B to see him, but he still doesn't have a choice because the radio is jammed.

Situation 2
Melvin, after waiting for more than a year, decided to man-up and profess his feelings to Nicole.
He is baffled on how he will say it to her.
And for this, Melvin's verbal communication would be preferable. He should also think
about what he wants to say to Nicole and how he wants to express it. Given that Melvin
has been in love with Nicole for a long time, it would be preferable if Nicole could hear
directly from his lips how he truly feels for her and how sincere you are.
