What makes dance an art?

In dance, human movement is used to sense, know, and express thoughts, emotions,
and experiences. To be proficient in dance, one must first comprehend and apply the material,
vocabulary, skills, and techniques of the art. The elements of dance are the fundamental
principles and vocabulary for learning movement skills and recognizing dance as an art form. All
of these elements are present at the same time in a dance or even a short movement
expression.

Why do you think dance persisted through times?


According to history books, dance, in whatever form it takes, has always been a part of a
country's culture. Medieval dances were popular among Europe's popular and aristocratic
classes. Several new dances were created during the Renaissance as me passed. The waltz was
invented in the mid-nineteenth century and quickly became popular.

What makes dance a tapestry of people’s sentiments, creativeness and feelings?


Dance teaches students how to work as a team, concentrate, and improvise. By
awakening new perspectives in people, dance lets them learn and think in new ways. People
must be able to express themselves verbally and creatively. Regardless of our situations, we are
all free-willed individuals. Our bodies show their freedom through dance while also emphasizing
the limitations that our minds place on them.

What is the nature of Philippine folk dances?

Philippine folk dancing is a true reflection of daily life in the past centuries while
enchanting modern audiences at the same time. 

Differentiate between national dance and ethnic dance?

A folk dance is a type of social dancing that has become a part of a people's customs and
traditions. An ethnic dance is a type of dance that originated from an ethnic culture and
expresses the aesthetics of that culture. Folk dance, as well as ethnic dance, are popular in my
country.
