“FREE SWAB TEST?”

After reading this editorial about “free swab test”. It seems that the free swab testing is a good
idea since many people will have a chance to know if they are infected or not. Nowadays you
cannot assure that you are safe because after all, this virus does not choose what gender or age
you are. I have learned that our funds in our country is cannot be able to support us because the
swab testing cost around 4,000 up to 13,000 according to (rappler.com). They will use swab
testing as a requirement for traveling to avoid spreading of the virus. The free swab test is in fact
very essential for everybody and to those who actually needs it, however our problem is the low
budget stopping us to achieve the free swab testing. The required quantity of the swab testing by
the medical experts should reach the amount needed for the rich people or not. A huge amount of
funds is needed so the government could provide the free swab test. The distribution of free
covid-19 swab test kits are beneficial for all of us specially to those highly affected areas. On the
other hand, the administration is required to put a large amount of budget to the Local
Government Units (LGU).
Swab testing is really needed right now because of rapidly increasing of covid 19 patient. It will
make easier to know if the patient is infected or not. The government is studying for the
possibilities of providing swab test for free to all Filipinos. I know that the free swab test will
really help us to lessen the positive covid cases because they can monitor all possible positive
cases. If we are able to have a free swab test kits, we can overcome this situation like every other
country.
The free swab testing will help to secure the public safety for all people that want to travel
because some resort will be reopening soon if they cannot secure the public safety it may lead for
another Covid 19 outbreak. The people that will go to a resort or some events they need to take a
swab test for the safety. Many Filipinos usually use their free time in travelling that is why we
need to have a free swab testing not only those who can buy or can pay the bill for it because
many Filipinos cannot really afford it especially to those who lost their job during this quarantine
that is why free swab testing is really needed.
The department of health (DOH) and other agencies are studying the feasibility of free testing.
