Title: “Virtual Classes: An Ineffective Form of Education”


Thesis/Claim: Virtual classes are ineffective in this form of education.
I. Lack of communication skill development.
A. Lack of communication between students and teachers.
II. Virtual classes can cause social isolation.
A. The impact of social isolation on mental health.
1. Students experience several mental issues such as heightened stress, anxiety,
depression, and negative thoughts.
III. The negative impact of too much screen time on students.
A. Too much screen time has a negative effect on students.
1. It can lead to obesity, sleep problems, chronic neck and back problems,
depression, anxiety, and lack of focus.
B. Students encounter a lot of distractions.
1. Student’s inability to focus on virtual meetings due to a lack of concentration
and motivation.
IV. The negative experiences of students in virtual classes.
A. Virtual classes require students to be responsible on their own learning.
B. Students struggle with flexibility, time management, and self-discipline.
C. Students experience poor internet connectivity during virtual meetings.
