Iway, Municipal Mayor of the Municipality of La Libertad, Negros Oriental, with the opening. prayer by Hon. Alejandra L. Curative Barangay Captain of Barangay Solonggon, La Libertad, Negros Oriental, and followed by audio video Philippine National Anthem, And acknowledgment of participants and LGU heads and the MIAC members. Mayor Em2x give a message about that what would be the outcome of today’s meeting he hopes to accept with heartedly especially to the Barangay Captains regarding the distribution of the Municipal Local Counterpart Contribution, he added that we must be thankful that our Municipality is one the recipients of KC-NCDDP Additional Financing for 2021-2023. After Mayor Iway gives his inspirational message. The facilitator in the person of Ms. Felnie Bomediano, ACT-Municipal Finance Analyst, acknowledged the presence of the Sangguniang Bayan Members, Hon. Leonardo Cabildo, Hon. Emelia Luz Medes, and Hon. Ritcho Absin, and also the presence of Hon. Lawrence “Dodong Pikdin” D. Limkaichong Jr., Municipal Vice-Mayor of the Municipality of La Libertad, in the Province of Negros Oriental. Afier the acknowledgement of the aforementioned participants, Ms. Bomediano give the floor the Mr. Elvi G. Caiia, ACT-Area Coordinator assigned in La Libertad, Negros Oriental to present the result of the Expanded Rapid Disaster Assessment and. Needs Analysis of the typhoon Odette. Mr. Cafia started presenting the result, base on the presentation we sec that the Municipality of La Libertad was heavily affected by the typhoon, because the eye of the typhoon Odette centers the place. Mr. Elvi Cafia added that, the Municipality of La Libertad during the post disaster assessment there are casualties being reported 1 (female) of Barangay Mambulod and 1 (male) of Barangay Bagtic, both of them are died during the typhoon. In lifeline and critical facilities and in basic services, the accessibility, power/electricity, communications, and shelter were badly affected. And in shelter there are 4,995 houses were partially damage and 2,541 houses were totally damage when the typhoon Odette hits its vicinity in the municipality. After, Ms. Infante commented, Mr. Cafia continued presenting the ERDANA result, and added that the people of La Libertad, ‘Negros Oriental are facing serious problems aftermath of the typhoon. Without further ado, the facilitator called Engr. Christian Alvin Arquilos for the presentation of the Final Sub- Project of the 29 Barangays and the LLC. Engr. Aquilos asking the participants if they have any questions regarding the presentation. Hon. Alejandro Dagle, Barangay Captain of Barangay Pisong, asked if the 3 meters width of the access road if those heavy equipment or vehicles can pass by? Engr. Arquilos answered Yes, it is enough width for those big vehicles. Engr. Arquilos added that the 29 sub-projects where already reviewed the MIAC Technical review last January 18, 2022. Engr. Arquilos asking again if there are any more questions? If there are no other questions, we now proceed to the open forum. After thorough discussion in the open forum, the buddy decided not shift other priorities or sub-projects to be implemented per barangay. Emmanuel L. Iway, Municipal Mayor of La Libertad, Negros Oriental, through the facilitation of the Area/Municipal Coordinating Team for the motion for approval of the abovementioned topics. Hon. Felix Turtor, Barangay Captain of Barangay Pangea and duly seconded Hon. Alejandro Dagle, Barangay Captain of Barangay Pisong to approve not to shift priority ‘sub-projects, the fidelity bond premium of the Area Coordinator, and endorse the 29 prioritized Sub-projects to KC-NCDDP Additional Financing for grant release.
