1. Thread a needle onto one end of your piece of fire line. The one piece will do both
beaded beads. Pick up four 6mm rounds and let them fall leaving a short tail. Tie the tail
and working thread together into a couple of good knots. Go through one 6mm next to
the knot.
2. Pick up one 11/0, one 4mm, one 8/0, one 4mm, and one 11/0. Go back through the
6mm you are exiting to make a circle of beads that will lay atop the 6mm.
3. Go up through the first 11/0 and 4mm just added.
4. Pick up one 8/0, one 4mm, and one 11/0. Go to the next 6mm and come back through
it going back towards the beads just added.
5. Go up through the 11/0 and 4mm right above where your thread is exiting and then on
through the beads just added and the next 6mm.
6. Pick up one 11/0, one 4mm, and one 8/0. Go down through the 4mm and 11/0
previously added and then on through the 6mm, 11/0 and 4mm just added.
7. Pick up one 8/0 and go down through the first 4mm added in the top embellishment.
You should now have 4 bicones and four 8/0s on top of the base 6mm’s.
8. Stitch through the beads to exit an 8/0 in the top center. Go back through the four 8/0s
several times to reinforce the join.
9. Stitch through your beads to exit a 6mm along the outer edge.
11. Pick up three 11/0s and go through the next 6mm. Repeat three more times.
12. Tie off your thread with a couple of half hitch knots and trim the tails.
13. On a headpin thread on one 4mm, your beaded bead, and one 4mm.
14. Start making a wrapped loop but before you do the wrap thread on your desired length
of chain. Finish the wrapped loop and trim the tail.
