Canterbury Bracelet

Supplies:

[9 grams] 11/0 Seed beads,


Miyuki No. 152 FR, Matte
Translucent Gray AB

[14] 6 mm fire polish crystal,


2 tone Green/Purple

[50] 4 mm fire polish crystal, Olivine

One-G Thread or Fireline

[2] Split rings, [2] Jump rings, [1] clasp

Technique: Net weave

Note, in general: When thread path is shown, the end without the arrow is where your thread is coming
from in the beadwork. The end with the arrow is where the thread will be at the end of
the step.

To begin:

1. Take a length of thread that you are comfortable working with (8-9’). Stretch and condition thread.
Then thread your needle.

2. Pick up (1) 6 mm crystal and (7) Seed beads


and go through crystal as shown.

3. Pick up (7) Seed beads and go through crystal


and five of the seed beads just added as
shown.

4. Pick up (3) Seed beads and go through three
seed beads as shown and back through the
three just added.

5. Pick up (3) Seed beads and go through three


seed beads and three seed beads just added
as shown.

6. Pick up (2) Seed beads, (1) 6 mm crystal and


(2) Seed beads. Go through three seed beads,
two just added and 6 mm crystal as shown.

7. Repeat steps 3 thru 6 until you have added 14


crystals for a bracelet that will be approx. 7.5”
in length (allowing for a clasp and jump rings).
You will end with step 3.

8. Weave thread through as shown for next row.

9. Pick up (2) Seed beads and go through next


bead as shown.

10. Pick up (1) Seed bead, (1) 4 mm crystal and (1)


Seed bead and go through next bead as
shown.

11. Repeat steps 9 and 10 for both sides of the


bracelet.

12. Weave thread through as shown to add loop


for the clasp.

13. Pick up (4) Seed beads, split ring (or clasp) and
(4) Seed beads. Go through three seed beads
as shown. Go through a second time to
strengthen. Weave thread through as shown
for next row.

14. Pick up (7) Seed beads and go through two as


shown.

15. Repeat step 14 for length of the bracelet.

16. Weave thread through as shown to add loop


for clasp.

17. Pick up (4) Seed beads, split ring (or clasp) and
(4) Seed beads. Go through three seed beads
as shown. Go through a second time to
strengthen. Weave thread through as shown
for next row.

18. Repeat step 14 for other side of bracelet.

19. Weave thread through as shown to begin next


row.

20. Pick up (2) Seed beads, (1) 4 mm crystal and


(2) Seed beads. Go through three beads as
shown.

21. Repeat step 20 for length of bracelet.

22. Weave through to opposite side (see step 19


for thread path suggestion).

23. Repeat step 20 for length of bracelet.

24. Weave thread through so that it is coming out
as shown.

25. Pick up (4) Seed beads and go through next


seed bead, crystal and seed bead as shown.

26. Repeat step 25 for length of bracelet.

27. Weave through to opposite side (see step 19


for thread path suggestion).

28. Repeat step 25 for length of bracelet.

29. Weave thread end in and secure.

30. Attach clasp with jump rings if split rings were


added in steps 13 and 17
