You can model with small property say a weightless 100X100mm

Please let us know if you need any other information from our end.

Thanks and regards

Thank you for your prompt reply.

We also have one more concern related to slab modeling.

In most of the flat slab projects, end of the slab is cantilevered with glazing on the edge as shown in the sketch
below.

In ETABS, so far we have been modelling null beam on the edge of the slab with UDL as shown in the image
below.
But on new ETABS version, at many of such null beams with UDL load, ETABS is showing an error of loss of load,
(screenshot not available as of now).

We want to know what is the correct way to model UDL on the edge of such cantilever slab.

Thanks & Regards,

Hello:

It appears to be graphics issue and doesn't come every time. For example us reshape button and click on the area.
You will get lots of handles to modify the extents of the drawn slab. Close reshape and click on the area again. You
should not get the issue again.

We have forwarded it to developers.

Thanks and regards

Dear Rajiv Sir

We are in the middle of making one ETABS model, we are facing some issue while selecting the slab on
the 1st floor.

See the images below, dotted line indicating slab selection is going out of the model on the right portion of
building, and on left there seems to be a glitch too.

Can you confirm if it is a modelling error or graphical error?

For your reference, EDB file is attached with this mail. (Issue on 1st floor)

As such we have observed such bugs in the older versions too.

Currently, we are using V19.0.2 Build 2324.
