1. For me, ambition can wipe out reason and fear of consequences.

Being too ambitious is bad for one

when he/she is doing all the things to reach her/his goal even if they have hurt someone on process.

2. I would like to have superman’s power. He is very flexible; he can almost do anything. So, I want to
have this kind of power to help those in need all the time.

3. Two Filipino customs that I do not like are the Filipino time and our inability to say ‘no’. Filipinos are
always late. When Filipinos agree on a specific time, say for a meeting or an event, it is, more often than
not, understood to actually mean around 15 minutes to half an hour after the agreed upon time. This
kind of custom is a nuisance to others and is a bad image to us. So, we should change this habit to us not
be branded always late. Filipinos, in general, don’t like confrontations, and many avoid saying ‘no’ at all
costs. Instead, they’ll give the Tagalog equivalent to a ‘maybe’, an ‘alright, we’ll see’, or an ‘I’ll try.’ So
should a Filipino be invited to a gathering, and he says ‘I’ll try,’ there’s a 50/50 chance he won’t make an
appearance. Pay attention to the words they use and their tone of delivery – you’ll soon recognize what
a Filipino ‘no’ sounds like.

4. I would accept the fact that she doesn’t have feelings for me. And I would not want to burden her
more by being a pushover, worse, using love potion. It will be best to start moving on and do things that
will not remind you of her and wait for the love that you deserve.

5. I believe that men and women should be treated as equals. They should have equal rights and
opportunities. For God sees us equals to His mercy and love towards us. Gender equality should be
practiced.
