Preposition

(Pre + Position)

 A word which is used to show the position of noun or pronoun. It is used before Noun or
Pronoun & denotes the relationship between noun / Pronoun & other part of sentence.
Example -
 Rohan put the keys (N1 ) On the table(N2 ).
 We need to go by bus.

(2) Time Indicator – When particular date or day is given. We use „on‟.
