Product Features-1
UPS PoE Switch
Features -1

u Built-in MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) Charge Controller

An MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker) is an electronic DC to DC converter that optimizes the match
between the solar panels and the battery bank or utility grid. They convert a higher voltage DC output from
solar panels to the lower voltage needed to charge the battery effectively.

u PoE Schedule for Energy Saving
Can effectively control the power supply besides its capability of giving high watts power. The “PoE schedule”
function helps you to enable or disable PoE power feeding for each PoE port during specified time intervals and it is
a powerful function to help SMBs or enterprises save power and budget. It also increases security by powering off
PDs that should not be in use during non-business hours.

Setup Process

Calculate solar panel and battery capacity select

Sample 1: About the calculator for power consumption

One pcs solar ups PoE switch connect 2pcs IP camera+1pcs wireless CPE, total power consume
15W/Hour, sun charge time is 8 hours, assumption solar power is A, battery power capacity is B.

That mean:
n A*8hr*70%(Solar panel efficiency)=15W/H *8H+12V*B (W/H) Day time charge process
n 12V *B*50%(battery safe capacity)=15W/H*16H Night time discharge process
n So B=40AH , A=107W
n So use 12V 100W solar panel, and 12V 40AH battery
