Place of birth: Medellin Colombia.

Occupation: Businessman, dressmaker.

Since he was a child, he demonstrated sales skills, he worked as an industrial

mechanic in a textile industry. In 1958 he moved to Bogotá and began working in a
shirt store located in San Victorino, before opening his own store in 1966.

1968 created a new clothing store with the name of Arturo Calle and began to
manufacture his own clothes, and thus the trademark was born.

In 1988 he opened the store in the Unicentro shopping center. For the end of the
1990s, it opened new stores of its namesake trademark in Cali, Medellín and the
rest in other cities of the country and in countries like Panama, Costa Rica, El
Salvador and Guatemala.

During the more than 50 years that Arturo Calle - the trademark - has been
growing, it has experienced the global transformation of the male market, which
has become more demanding, better informed and very diverse every day.

Today, the company is directed by his son Carlos Arturo Calle, but Don Arturo
does not stop visiting his company every day.

In 2011, they inaugurated their Arturo Calle Business Tower on Avenida Boyacá
with 152 street, in Bogotá, which includes a main store of the trademark and that
pays tribute to the innovation in design that Arturo Calle has brought to Colombia
during the last five decades.
