BLOCK INTRODUCTION
The block contains following six units:

Unit 7: Conversation at the Taxi Stand: The main objective of this unit is
to acquaint you with the basic and common sentences and expressions in
Persian language that may be needed for hiring a taxi etc.

Unit 8: Conversation at the Bus Stop: To acquaint you with the basic and
common sentences and expressions that may be needed while traveling by
bus from the bus stand.

Unit 9: Conversation at the Railway Station: By going through this unit


you will be able to communicate in Persian at railway station very easily.

7.0 OBJECTIVES
The main objective of this unit is to acquaint you with the basic and common
sentences and terminologies in Persian language that may be needed for
hiring a taxi etc. if you read the sentences / conversation carefully you will be
able to talk to a Persian taxi driver / owner or a company very easily to hire a
taxi.

7.1 INTRODUCTION
The following conversation takes place between a tourist and a Persian
Speaking taxi driver in any part of the Persian Speaking region in Tajikistan,
Azerbaijan, Afghanistan and Iran. The tourist asks a number of questions to
reach his destination. The conversation is in a very simple method and
contains important expressions of the topic concern.
