Medical Prognosis

Parry whose real name is Henry Sagan, had been a teacher at Hunter College.
After witnessing his wife’s gruesome death at the mass shooting, Henry had a
psychotic break and became catatonic. Then he was admitted to a Psychiatric hospital
in three years, when he woke up he became Parry and became obsessed with the
legend of the Fisher king. Parry has schizophrenia, which he sees things that aren’t
real, having delusions and hallucinations.

GOOD FAIR POOR JUSTIFICATION

Onset of the ☻ Parry first experience the signs and symptoms
of schizophrenia when he witnessed the death of
illness
his wife. The first signs that Parry showed was
when his wife died and suddenly fell into a
catatonic state and lived in asylum on Staten
island. Also when he woke up he then change his
name to Parry from Henry. The onset of illness
was poor since the signs and symptoms of
schizophrenia that Parry is experiencing did not
immediately seek medical advice and took 3 years
before Parry got to see a Doctor because he
doesn’t have a immediate family that will
accommodate him to go to the hospital.

Duration of illness ☻ Parry suffers from hallucinations and having

delusions. A long time he was obsessed with the
legend of the Fisher king. But currently there is no
cure for schizophrenia, but the illness can be
successfully treated and managed. As of Parry he
did not have a immediate family to help him. Parry
then suffer from seeing things that aren’t real and
then he met Jack and they became friends. Parry
fell in love with a girl named Lydia. Both Jack and
Lydia helped Parry recover.
 Precipitating ☻ Parry had a psychotic break and became
catatonic, right after the death of his wife. One

as the end of relationship.

became catatonic, he doesn’t care of his
environment. Especially when he see something he
then change his mood and quickly chasing
something he sees, and didn’t care of his
environment.
Family Support ☻ Parry is living with his wife, and they don’t
have children and right after his wife died, he had
a psychotic break and became catatonic. After he
left in the psychiatric hospital for three years, he
then lived as a homeless man, for a long time he
met Jack and became friends, then Parry then fell
in love with the girl named Lydia. Both Lydia and
Jack helped Parry to recover.

Willingness to ☻ With the help of Jack and Lydia parry was

take medications recovering, and both of them were loved and
and treatment important to Parry. Parry is willing to recover with
the help of Jack and Lydia.
Depressive ☻ Parry was afraid with the Red knight the he sees
features often, after his wife’s death Parry had a psychotic
break and became catatonic. He began seeing
things that aren’t real. But when he met Jack and
 Lydia both of them helped Parry to recover.
