Many racial and ethnic groups have historically faced severe discrimination in most

societies, including widespread and open denial of civil, social, political, educational,
and economic opportunities. Today, there are still significant differences between
racial and ethnic groups. Minority group as defined by Louis Wirth (a sociologist), as
any group of people who, because of their physical or cultural characteristics, are
singled out from the others in the society in which they live for differential and
unequal treatment, and who therefore regard themselves as objects of collective
discrimination. A lot of subordinate group have experienced unfairly treatment from
dominant group. No society has been free from discrimination, just about every
location of the world there is some form of racial discrimination.

Equal opportunity to participate as a full and functioning member of society is vital.

In our society, Mamanwas for instances are disregarded due to their physical
appearanceIt is important that everyone has an equal opportunity to participate as a
full and functioning member of society. Social changes is necessary to improve the
opportunities for minority groups. Mamanwas, for example, are marginalized in our
society due to their physical appearance. However, let us not normalize such
thinking. Our dear indigent people are the same as we are. They are humans who
were created in a different form of beauty. We do not have the right to discriminate
against people based on their physical appearance, origin, or beliefs; instead, we
should recognize them for they have brought significant contributions to our
society, particularly in preserving our culture. Integration of efforts is one way to
promote equality and prevent discrimination. I believe on better understanding and
an open hearts will be the key to gradually lessen discrimination.
The current situation on COVID-19 has had a huge impact on humanities. This has
seen an impact on our health, mental health, emotional well-being, and economic
well-being. This pandemic has been ravaging many countries for years. Our
government is carrying out its responsibilities in providing the Filipino people with
the necessary health care. COVID vaccination is the answer to combat such
intangible foe. Covid-19 vaccines are safe, according to the Centers for Disease
Control and Prevention, as they have gone through all of the required stages of
clinical trials. Furthermore, Covid-19 vaccines are effective in preventing infection
and spreading the virus. Once a person has been fully vaccinated, you can resume
your normal activities prior to the pandemic. Furthermore, it is the safer way to help
build protection and provides a significant boost in protection, particularly for those
who have recovered from COVID-19.
This vaccination program has benefited the people, particularly those frontliners
who have bravely served infected and vulnerable individuals. This COVID vaccine
will serve as a shield to protect us from the virus, which can be fatal to one's health.
Getting vaccinated is strongly encouraged by health care workers and professionals
because it will help to reduce the rapid increase in covid cases as well as help them
to at least lessen the burden they have been battling. First thing we need to do is to
have ourselves check by doctors to see if we are suitable for the vaccine. There is
nothing wrong in protecting ourselves and our family. Doubts are undeniably
always comes in our mind, whether the vaccine brings good or harm to us. Let us
open our minds and educate ourselves regarding this covid 19 vaccination. After all,
it is our decision, and everyone will respect it, but at the very least, we have enough
knowledge on this.
