Introduction

In the modern era, more and more talent generations appear and increase the competition

in various aspects of society. To be an intelligent candidate, pupils have to prove themselves

with special characteristics, ability, intention, etc. and I am not an exception. Hence, this SWOT

analysis will reflect my features, in order to take over suitable positions, bring up the overview

for organizations in the future. The essay includes personal motto, VISION/ MISSION

statements, SWOT analysis and relevant explanation respectively.

Personal motto/ famous quote

Eleanor Roosevelt stated that “It is better to light a candle than curse the darkness”. This

is one of the most prominent quote that I has been impressed and influenced for the recent year.

Furthermore, every time mentioning about this quote, my contemplation grows up lots of

meaningful messages. A candle symbolizes for positive values, glassy expectations, in contrast,

the darkness represents for worst consequences. The most crucial factor Roosevelt reminds is to

encourage person to tackle their obstacles patiently, instead of complaining, due to the strong

belief in reasonable solutions in any circumstances, the bright horizon to whom endeavor.

Additionally, individuals need responsible for their actions, even if the results are success or

failure, be brave and optimistic to overcome struggles. Finally, youth is the ideal time to make

bold decisions and approach passion, therefore, I am diligent at getting good appreciates as much

as possible, try to step out of comfort zone and light up hope for myself. Hawking also complied

this quote when he asserted that motor neurone disease delayed him a lot, however, it taught him

not to feel pity for himself, because others still had exacerbate conditions and Hawking can work

well with his situation. (Mejia, 2018)

Personal VISION and MISSION statements

In the next five or ten years, after graduating from university and acquire useful

experience from practical jobs, I intend to operate private company importing and selling

electronic equipment. Then, my business will extend more about inventing, designing smart

furniture and trading with reasonable price for Vietnamese citizens, even global.

About my vision statement. To control my company sustainably, the leadership role is

the essential factor, especially with the student majoring in management as me. According to

Anthony of CHRON article, leaders take the crucial role in organizations, because the employees

always observe and mimic their leader for well behaviors. A great leader can motivate and

inspire staffs to approach triumph. Hence, in my future career, I desire to become a supply chain

or financial manager with the following characteristics:

○ Equal, straightforward: When collaborating, I expect members express their opinions,

emotions, problems honestly no matter what the senior or junior positions they are

standing. This is my prior communication in order to comprehend and enhance each other

performance.

○ Empowered, reliable: “Transformational leaders help followers grow and develop into

leaders by responding to individual followers' needs by empowering them and by aligning

the objectives and goals” (Bass and Riggio, 2020). Staffs always desire to manage their

assignment independently, because some days, they will take over senior positions. Hence,

I ready to identify their faculty, give opportunities and criticize their performances in order

to ensure both effectiveness and efficiency.

○ Proactive: To protect the great value of company from inside/ outside incidents, the great

method I have acquired recently from Terry Borton is What- So what- Now what (Hurst,

2021). This reflection suggests surveying, recognizing the issues, feedbacks from

company’s staff and customers about products, then innovate, adjust for better experience.

About my mission statement. In the future, the number of citizens will increase, people

tend to reside in departments owing to the lack of residential land. Consequently, the rate of

transforming house and the demand to decorate it will grow up. My ambition is to become the

quality supplier with below standards:

● Economic: Release various choices, suitable price for all income classes, familiar with

every household.

● Eco friendly: According to Florencia Ortzar, a lawyer of AIDA's Climate Change

Program asserted that: “Healing the natural system is the most feasible, realistic and fair

option, since it would benefit humanity and all species.” (Yaniz, 2017). Being a helpful

factor, I will utilize solar panels, renewable energy, also apply friendly materials in our

outcome such as bamboo, recycle plastic, inox, etc. Annually, I invest for green charity

and assist government to enhance quality of the environment.

After bringing the benefits for human, nature, I will optimize the profit and improve my position

more powerful in market through the sharing value of local human, government.

Explanation

S- Strength. I am a big fan of technology and number, so I spend almost time I discovering

interesting software on Youtube, Coursera. English is currently the international business

language. Almost prominent brands namely Airbus, Nokia, Renault, Samsung, Microsoft are

demanding English as the common corporate

language (Neeley, 2012). Studying at ISB- UEH

University can enhance my second language,

which is the massive benefits to work in

multinational companies . Additionally, with

conscious, flexible features, I always adopt with

new challenges, including the result’s quality on

time.

W- Weakness. My biggest struggle is self-

deprecating, it impacts on my conversations, public speaking, even leads to the productivity of

organization and other serious impacts.

O- Oportunity. Being good at financial management, English helps me to be employed in

multinational corporations with high salaries, also broadening positive relationships. The

manager in every major is the vital role which robot or machine can not respond well, hence, I

can devote capability in different industries and identify the necessity for my private company.

T- Threat. However, the young generations are more knowledgeable, especially finance or

supply chain are the popular major. I must address negative influences. Nevertheless, Covid

pandemic makes the world comes nearly to the recession, economic uncertainty, employees are

easier to lose jobs, exhaustive. Finally, severe political situations create partnership risks for

multinational corporations result in rapid interruptions, supply chain delays, and the

unemployment of many locals.

Conclusion

To summarize, this essay not only helps myself, my lecturers, future organizations comprehend

more about my features in business activities, but also reclaim and clarify my intention, how I

adapt, change to achieve and establish the future occupation. Through the personal motto, vision/

mission statements, personal SWOT analysis, I hope monitors can realize my potential to spend

for useful assignments.
