TASK 1

SWOT analysis
SWOT analysis is a strategic planning tool used to identify and evaluate the Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats involved in a project or business venture. It
provides a comprehensive overview of the internal and external factors that can impact
the success of a particular endeavor. The analysis is typically conducted in a four-
quadrant matrix, with each quadrant representing one of the four elements: Strengths,
Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.
Here's a brief breakdown of each component:
1. Strengths:
• Internal factors that give a project or business a competitive advantage.
• Examples may include a strong brand, skilled workforce, advanced
technology, or unique resources.
2. Weaknesses:
• Internal factors that may hinder the success of a project or business.
• Examples could be a lack of certain skills, outdated technology, or
insufficient resources.
3. Opportunities:
• External factors that the project or business could exploit to its advantage.
• These can include emerging markets, technological advancements, or
changes in consumer behavior.
4. Threats:
• External factors that could present challenges or risks to the project or
business.
• Examples might include economic downturns, regulatory changes, or
increased competition.

candidates to emphasize particular skills or experiences that align with the requirements of each

networking, professional events, and conferences. It serves as a snapshot of one's professional
background, aiding in networking and career advancement opportunities.
7. Documentation for Career Progression: As one progresses in their career, a CV becomes a
crucial document for tracking and documenting professional accomplishments, making it easier
to apply for promotions, awards, or further education.
8. Global Applicability: CVs are widely accepted and used globally, making them a standard tool
for job applications across different industries and countries.
9. Decision-Making Tool: For employers, a CV acts as a screening tool, helping them shortlist
candidates based on qualifications, experience, and skills. It streamlines the selection process
and assists in making informed hiring decisions.
In summary, a well-crafted CV serves as a vital tool in a job seeker's arsenal, enabling them to

various forms depending on the nature of the role, the company's preferences, and the
industry. Here are several types of interviews commonly conducted:

present candidates with a hypothetical business problem or scenario that they must
analyze and solve within a limited timeframe.

questions, employing a confrontational tone, or creating an intentionally stressful
environment. The goal is to assess how candidates handle stress and pressure.
9. Virtual/Remote Interviews:
• Conducted via video conferencing tools like Zoom, Skype, or Microsoft Teams,
especially common when candidates are located in different geographic regions or
for remote job positions.
10. Second or Final Round Interviews:

These interviews may involve meeting higher-level management, discussing

specific projects, negotiating terms, or touring the company's facilities.
