Research on ~ Vector Illustrations:

A vector illustration is a form of computer graphic. This type of
artwork is made from geometrical shapes including lines, curves,
and points. Unlike a raster illustration, the vector illustration isn’t
made up of many pixels.
A vector illustration has a great deal of computed graphics. It
keeps its original exemplary quality unlike the raster illustrations,
you’re unable to resize a raster illustration with it remaining in its
normal resolution.
There are many programmes and websites made for these types
of illustrations. Vector illustrations are generally made for logos,
digital illustrations and maybe videogame illustrations. These
days Vector Illustrations are getting increasingly popular by the
day, and this is mostly because these types of images are usually
simple and realistic which is enough to catch a person’s eye and
love them.
Many huge brands use vector illustrations for their brand logo
such as Apple, Facebook and even McDonalds. Although many
people think vector illustrations are hard to make, but with the
right programme and device it’s not too hard.
A great programme for creating any type of vector illustrations is
Adobe Illustrator. It has all the tools you need and even
templates to help you start your vector illustrations. There are
millions of YouTube videos to help you get started

Research on ~ Billie Eilish:

Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell was born on the 18th of
December 2021. Most know her as Billie Eilish. Eilish a 20-year-
old singer-songwriter from Los Angeles to her mother, Maggie
Baird, and her father Patrick O’Connell.
She also has a brother, Finneas O’Connell whom she shares the
same profession as. Billie and her brother write and produce
songs together. Billie Eilish’s style is mostly baggy clothes and
bulky jewellery but as she’s growing up, she’s trying out many
different clothing styles. Billie first got public exposure in 2015
with her first song ‘Ocean Eyes’ in 2017. Later she put out an
Extended Play (EP) with the name ‘Don’t Smile at Me’. In 2019
she put out her first album ‘When We All Fall Asleep Where Do
We Go?’ which led her to win 5 Grammys and breaking the world
record with becoming the youngest person to win one of the
Grammy’s top awards. artist to sweep all four main Grammys
since Christopher Cross in 1981. In 2021 she released her second
album ‘Happier Than Ever’. Throughout her life Billie has always
been an inspiration to many people. She talked about the
importance of climate change and mental health, she went to
multiple Black Lives Matter protests she encouraged people to
stay in and get vaccinated during the pandemic, and she helped
her mother, Maggie with the campaign she started, ‘Support-
and-feed’ where they help plant-based restaurants, first-
responders, hospitals, and more in need. Billie is clearly a
wonderful person, and I couldn’t ask for a better person to look
up to.

Research on ~ Media Audience:

The Media Audience that are most likely to be attracted to my
poster on the meet-and-greet with Billie Eilish poster are youth
and young adults. This is in all probability of the choice of music
that Billie Eilish makes. Her music is mostly Alternative Pop, and
this is targeted towards youth and young adults. This media
audience isn’t much familiar with print media, but they do take
an interest in posters. Billie Eilish is insanely popular with
teenagers and young adults so a picture of her would be
essential. Another thing you must look out for is the choice of
colour, when using purple and black it will probably draw people
who like rock to the poster, now since we’re doing a pop poster,
we must use more vibrant colours like blue and white to attract
pop fans. When choosing the font for the poster you need to
make sure that you have eye-catching fonts that gets straight to
the point, otherwise our media audience would get bored of
reading and won’t go to the meet-and-greet. A great addition to
a meet-and-greet poster is to add something good about the
artist, the audience would want to go to meet a successful
person even if they don’t know her. In this case, Billie Eilish is a
7-time Grammy winner which is an astonishing achievement
therefore a great addition to the poster. When using matching
colours and a shape, would attract people more. In my poster I
have different shades of light blue and a hint of black to enliven
the poster and make it more attractive.
