WEE PROGRESSION DESCRIPTION

K
Dig the soil to take the top soil and sub soil to mix and make as a
medium in the polybag. The suitable soil pH for chili plants is 5.5 to
6.8.

We were sowing chilies seed into the germination tray to facilitate

the transplant activity into the plant medium. Only one seed for
every hole to prevent competition between the seedlings. Peat moss
1 used as the medium for germination seed in the tray because of peat
moss can store water and not easily dry to maintain soil moisture, it
is also rich with nutrient, reduce density and stagnant water and
accelerate root growth.
The seedling that produce shoots after 7 days. Before transplant, chili
seedlings need to grow and germinate in a germination tray for a
month. Ensure watering is done twice daily (morning and evening) to
2 avoid wilted.

After 8 leaves have sprouted, the saplings are ready to be moved to a

larger polybag. Provide a polybag filled 1/3 of the soil. By using
scoop, make a hole to plant the saplings. Then, add the soil to 2/3 full
of polybag and watered the plant. For our experiment on different

fertilizer rate application in soil medium, 4 treatment quantity of
fertilizer created which no fertilizer applied, accurate quantity, high
quantity and over quantity applied to observe the result of chilies
growth. NPK Green fertilizer applied after 1 week transplant.
The result after 4 week after transplant. The plant we place it at the
greenhouse to get enough nutrient, water, sunlight and space to
growth healthy. Plant height recorded through the week to get the
result.

8
After 12 weeks, the plant of treatment 4 which over applied fertilizer
showed wilted n died.

12

The process of record the length of root development. All three

chilies tree move out from the polybag to record. The medium
should be cleaned and removed from the roots carefully.

12

The result for 12 weeks planting for accurate quantity of fertilizer

experiment.

Measured by using ruler and record the result. Identify the plant
result based on observe by week.
