My goals and motivations in Acquiring a Masters's Degree in Business Administration at the University of

Santo Tomas in its simplest form is simply to learn new concepts and knowledge in the field by
continuing education and help me grow personally and professionally; while simultaneously honing my
leadership skills.

Acquiring a Masters's Degree calls for greater insight into the subject matter and the business course in
general. This will help me become more credible and to gain expertise in the said field. This knowledge
that I shall attain in the program will help me become more accomplished personally and will give me an
edge over my professional competitors.

Graduate school also involves students further into the specific industry focusing on the specific subject
matter. Giving them innumerable information in a short period helps professionals and students verge
on the path they want to pursue easily.

Continuing education makes way to several connections that can be limited to only a Bachelor’s degree.
It also brings a sense of fulfillment professionally and on a personal level.

As a degree holder and a professional board exam passer, I can still say that having a Masters's Degree is
far more superior than the two for it shows certain expertise and deeper understanding in the field and
an assurance of expertise from its holder.

It gives a wider scope of possibilities which equates to a larger number of career opportunities down the
road.

Completing a masters degree also encourages a high level of regard and confidence in one's academic
expertise and leadership skills

As a graduate of BS in Electrical Engineering, it may be absurd to take a Masters in Business

Administration rather than Engineering-related Masters after finishing the Bachelor’s degree.

I firmly believe that Masters in Business Administration specifically is essential in any field. The concepts
of the business and trade industry date way back and are still being applied in our day-to-day. This
course is needed to learn its simplest concepts and can apply it in other fields.

Having knowledge in another field than my current want brings me confidence and security that I am
not only limited to one disciple but can be flexible.

The knowledge I will gain will hopefully be beneficial to me and also can be a safety net, especially
during these trying times. Citing the current pandemic which left an exceedingly high number of
unemployed workers.

As a product of the UST for almost 2 decades and now an employee of the UST Hospital, I also want to
finish my Masters's Degree in this pristine university. Upholding its unending grace and embodying the
3Cs of the University;
By being more Competent and gaining more knowledge by following continuous education that will lead
to personal and professional success.

Being Committed by fulfilling God’s purpose for me and my mission with a deep reason and meaning.

And, Compassion: by helping the community and giving back to those in need by making a way to help
others especially those in need.
