A lot of people love cakes. But imagine a job where
you can eat cakes all day! Although this can be
really unhealthy, being a cake tester is a job that
actually pays you to try cakes and then give your
opinion. Cake testers tell us about the taste; if it is
tasty or not! Then, from what they taste, they can
also think up new ideas of how to make something
different, or more delicious. Cake tester Laura
Fagan from London says that being a cake tester is
an exciting job. She gets to travel all around the
world and tries about 20 different types of cakes a
day! But she also says that it is tiring. She is very
careful of how much she eats, since all these cakes
contain a lot of fat. She works out at the gym every
day, though, to stay healthy! In fact, Laura says she
loves her job and adds, “It’s a hard job, but
someone has to do it!”
