IV. Evaluation:
For each ítem, give a polynomial equation with integer coefficients that has the following
roots.
1. ± 5 ,2
2. 1, -2
3. ± 6
Expected Answers: 2. x2 +x -2=0
1. x3-2x2-25x+50=0 3. x2 -36=0
V. Assignment:
With the given numbers as roots, first change it in factored form and express it as a
polynomial equation with integral coefficients of x.
For example:
1. ±2, 3
2. 2, -1, 3
Expected Answers:
1.x3-3x2-4x+12=0 2. x3-4x2+x+6=0
