HOW TO BECOME A DOCTOR: AN EXCELLENT HEALTH PROFESSIONAL

Study Medicine:

There isn`t doubt that the medical profession is absolutely essential to human
society. If you are interested in becoming a good doctor, we recommend to study medicine
since through this discipline, you must strictly study the human being with regard to their
anatomy, health, life, disease and death. In addition, this includes studying the prevention and
treatment of the different diseases and injuries that a human being can have.

On the other hand, you have to keep in mind that you must like reading a lot;
since medicine is a science that is constantly innovating over time; new diseases, epidemics,
treatments arise and therefore you must update yourself in knowledge; through this skill you
will delve deeper into the medical area, you will know much better how the human body
works. We suggest that throughout your life you dedicate yourself to study, read to enrich and
innovate your knowledge.

Make a specialization; for example a surgeon:

As is well known, plastic surgery is one of the most expensive branches in
medicine. Becoming a plastic surgeon is not easy at all but at the end of the journey it is
worth it; This involves improving the person's appearance and the reconstruction of facial
and body tissues damages caused by an accident or an illness.

On the other hand, being a plastic surgeon is challenging. First of all, medicine is
always improving and the mechanisms of a surgery are always changing so you must be
aware of the changes. So you have to remember, is necessary to have an exceptional pulse
and a good technique of stitches so in that way, the patient will end up very satisfied by your
work.

Areas where physicians are involved:

Physicians are highly trained health care professionals, so the places where they
work with patients are diverse. Specifically, physicians practice in a variety of settings,
including hospitals, health centers, specialized health service centers, and community care.

The most assigned places for doctors are hospitals and also health centers, located
according to their specialty, but we recommend you can work in community care, such as
taking medical brigades to places where there are no hospitals, not only providing medical
care but also training in disease prevention.

The role of the doctor in society:

The role of the physician is changing, as society moves into a knowledge-based

age characterized by a wealth of information, scientific advances, the proliferation of
technology, and a corporate orientation.

The medical profession must present itself to society as the guardian of a set of
knowledge that, being originally intellectual, is complemented by the experience of daily
practice. Furthermore, being a doctor implies a responsibility that not everyone is willing to
have, but at the same time it offers the opportunity to improve the quality of life of a society
through patient orientation, prevention, counseling, research and treatment. adequate disease.

Remember, the doctor is the person who extends a helping hand when there is a
need, who knows how to comfort the sad and advises the confused, who provides relief when
there are discomforts and who offers hope when sick.

Vocation to serve as a doctor:

Being a doctor is a difficult profession and most students give up in the first semesters
of the career. For that reason, we suggest that you live the profession with a genuine desire
to serve and learn. A doctor who loves his profession will generate an atmosphere of trust with
his colleagues and patients, a doctor will be confident in his decisions and will not put his
patients' lives at risk. We recommend you to be a supportive physician who projects positive
emotions in the situations that may arise in medical centers.
On the other hand, you must remember that a doctor works without rest, and day
after day you will face tough situations that will fill you with stress. Also, remember that you
work with people who need to have a fluid communication with you, so you have to constantly
practice your behavior and how you are going to express yourself with them. If you have a
vocation for service you will get the job of your dreams. Always strive for success, you can do
it and you don't give up.
