Question:

Describe in detail the extracurricular experience (leadership, involvement in the community

service, student Pre- professional activities) you included on and how these experiences will
shape you as future pharmacist.

Answer:

Pharmacy is the profession which has always infatuated me from my childhood days and that is
the reason I chose to be a part of it. What I like most about this vocation is that it will help me
explore and enhance social, cultural and educational opportunities. The position of a pharmacist
provides a unique and distinct relationship between the patients and the doctors. As a pharmacist,
I would be getting an opportunity to help people in my own ways by helping them by
encouraging and improving their lifestyle (style of living a healthy life) and by providing them
safe medication. Not everyone in this works is fortunate enough to contribute to the mankind.
Since, I have always been keen to help people; this vocation is the best way I could serve the
mankind. That is the reason my inclination towards few extracurricular activities have been
preexistent before joining this course and I am sure that being part of these activities will help
me inculcating some more skills which will help me in becoming a better pharmacist, and most
importantly a better human being.
