PRONUNCIATION OF “ED”
Lo primero que debes saber es que los verbos con terminación “-ed” se pueden pronunciar
de tres formas diferentes.
/t/ = F, P, K, X, S, SH, CH, GH – Se pronunciará la ED como una ‘t’ cuando vaya detrás
de un sonido sordo, es decir, un sonido con el que NO nos vibran las cuerdas vocales.

A NICE WEEKEND
Kate and Susan had a nice weekend! On Friday evening they were at the playground.

and washed the dishes. Then she played computer games. On Saturday evening Kate went
to the zoo with her parents. She watched lions and monkeys there. Susan was at the
cinema on Saturday. She watched an interesting cartoon. In the evening Susan walked her
dog in the park. On Sunday Kate and Susan were at the beach. They swam in the river.
The girls had a lovely time! In the evening they came home and did their homework. Kate
and Susan went to bed early because they had to go to school on Monday.
