Instructions

• Access the learning resources in the eBook and Slides sections of the course in
the eLearning System.
• Read Chapters 5-9 and 15-18 of the Braun et. al. textbook, Chapter 13 of the
Cheesebro et. al. textbook, and the corresponding slides.
• Prepare (1) a response to the portfolio questions, and (2) a reflection. Guidance
on what to include in your reflection is presented below.
• Submit LP5 in a Word doc file via the eLearning System by the due date.
Portfolio Questions
1. Choose an example of an infomercial. Identify the persuasion tactics used in the
infomercial. What story does the infomercial tell?

2. How can you create an audience-friendly report? Explain.

3. Discuss suggestions for coping with speaker anxiety in online meetings.
