Highlights of Jan 2022 PPC meeting

Parish Announcements:

Regarding the Theme for the year 2022 – “Celebrating Life”, it was inaugurated at New Year’s Eve
mass. The theme this year will be driven by the Family cell along with a committee specially
appointed, who will together plan and executive activities through the year. Fr. Callisto is their
Spiritual Director.

Jan activity: As this is the month of the SVDs, the Family cell & committee has invited a speaker to
speak at the 8.45 a.m. Mass on 16th Jan, about the work done by the SVDs in the mission stations.

 12th Jan 2022 is deacon Melroy’s ordination at our parish at 4 p.m.

 15th Jan is the feast of St. Arnold Janssen, due to the Covid restrictions there will be no
celebrations.
 1% contribution letters will be mailed to all PPC members, who in turn will have to mail it to
the families in their communities
 PPC members/Coordinators are requested to kindly collect the 1% envelopes from the
parish office and distribute to the respective families.
 First Holy Communion at our Parish will be on 12 th Feb 2022 at 4.30 p.m.
 Confirmation at our Parish will be on 30 th Jan 2022 at 10 a.m., by Bshp Dominic Savio.

SCC Updates:

 Thanks to all for PPC members/animators/coordinators for the Christmas stars.

 13 out of 15 stalls were adopted on 18 th & 19th Dec, for the sale of Christmas sweets and
decorations, thanks to all members for encouraging the sweet makers in your community.
 PPC Members/animators are requested to kindly submit the cluster formation format duly
filled in to Candy and Jessie at the earliest. (format was sent on the PPC wats app group)
 SCC reports for OCT – DEC to be submitted at the earliest, deadline was 3 rd Jan.
 Reflection paper has been sent on our PPC wats app group, kindly forward it to all your
communities.
 Bishop’s circular has been sent, kindly forward it to your animators.
 Steering committee meeting will be held online on 4 th Feb at 8 p.m.

Youth Updates:

 PYC meeting will be held on 9th Jan, this will be an online meeting.
 Thanks to all the youth in your community for helping put up the crib.

Census Update:

A list comprising of all families in your community will be sent to the PPC members for verification
for census update.

Request all members, once the list is received kindly verify the same diligently and submit to the
Parish office at the earliest or in soft copy as required by Fr. Sundar & the Census updation team.
