SUBJECT: - PROTOCOLS FOR MAN AGEM ENT OF

COVI D-19 CASES IN NON SLUM
AREAS / HIGH RISE BUILDINGS.

It has been observed that during the past few days

P/South ward has seen a steep
surge in covid19 cases . According to data analysis
it is found that most of these cases are
being seen in non slum and high rise buildings. Henc
e to comb at the rise of cases, P/South
ward has decided to conduct rampant testing of
majo rity of popu lation residing in such
areas .

As per the new guidelines, if Covid-19 case is found

on a parti cular floor then that
floor will be sealed for 14 days, Howe ver entir
e building will be seale d if more than 10
activ e cases are foun d on more than one floor
(scattered on mult iple floor s), The residents
of the sealed floor /cont ained building will not
be allow ed move ment even if they work for
essential services. As per the proto col it will be
mandatory to get all the High Risk contacts
(People belonging to same sealed floor) of such patie
nts get tested for Covid -19, so that the
transmission of the virus can be prevented .People
residing at 1 floor above and 1 floor
below of Covid-19 positive case should also be teste
d. Meth od of the testin g is RT-PCR for
High Risk contacts and Low risk contacts. Testing for
High Risk and Low Risk conta ct will be
conducted betw een 5 th to 7 th day after Positive
case is found . Rapid Antigen test will be
conducted for the othe r remaining residents of the
building. We will be provi ding dedicated
team for testing in each such contained building accor
ding to the new cases found in the
particular building as required. Also realizing situation
if any residents (HRC/LRC) refused to
do the testin g , strict actions such as containment
of floor/Sealing of Building will not be
removed until all HRCs and LRCs are tested for
Covid-19 or the mand atory 14 days of
quarantine period is completed.

We woul d request the managing comm ittee and resid

ents to cooperate with us and
follow the above guidelines in orde r to prevent furth
er spread of Covid-19.
